Its actually a myth. Pakistan has stopped NATO supply in past, nothing happened. Drone attacked didnt stop then. Pakistan needs to understand its limitation. International politics is all about dialogue and finding a middle way. There is no reason for the two Allies to fight on this, there are better ways of solving the problem.

But the bigger ally wishes to ultimately destabilize Pakistan and contain China and Russia

If it applies even a fraction of the economic sanctions it has against Iran , with a foreign exchange of only 20 b USD , Pakistan will capitulate within a week.

I would agree to some part of your comment. Iran and Pakistan are different. Pakistan has China at its back. They wont suffer the same way. However having said that no country wants sanctions, it cripples the economy. The problem with US is they want to bend Pakistan's arm but not to the level that it gets broken. Its all about give and take , it would be interesting to know what the two countries settle for.
There is absolutely no chance that US would put any sanctions on Pakistan , or Pakistan could dare to block US supplies. American establishment has used Trump to pressurize Pakistan and in Pakistan military establishment has reciprocated the same through the controlled democracy ( by passing a resolution against Trump's speech) and carrying out few very small public processions against new US AfghPak policy. Ultimately decision would be made by two militaries and a middle way would be sorted out.
What is important is when it comes to Afghanistan both are interdependent.

America should think that if they train Afghan army they will become the strongest army in the region. And if somehow afghans start using their land resources well they will be most industrialized nation on the planet after 30 years. And every country will be welcome to come to afghan and get their army dead on dry hills. US forces have smaller balls than Pathans Pushtuns Pukhtoons who ever these red faces are . Do not train them the more you train them the more they will beat you. if US army really wants to know their physical power they should try eating "Naswar"

Yes they try this many times, please try again but this time US will also lose money. They have to pay 5 times extra for everything in Afghanistan.

So let me get it straight. Your country is publicly bad mouthing Pakistan yet want Pakistan cooperation to sustain your occupation of Afghanistan. I take you are looking to use Pakistani airspace to send those additional troops in Afghanistan.
