yes that is a curse for Pakistan. They are too corrupt and our laws are too old and weak tht our old leaders get away and play with it as the like. Corruption is th only reason that army has to intervene at one stage or other but then army cant give punishment to thesr leaders as other country get involves like saudia arabia to save nawaz sharif and so its too complixated

But OLMT is part of CPEC, hence Halal. It is being built by Iron Brother who has also given Loan for the project. Are people here questioning Chinese Investment in Pakistan?

The actual cost of this project was 200 Billion

$1.6 billion was given by Chinese Exim Bank 40 Billion was to be provided by Punjab Government in land acquisition and money was also allocated for the affected families in the route of Orange Line


Now coming on the cost increase Lahore high court issued stay order and suspended all construction activities within the radius of 200 feet of 11 protected immovable antiquity and special sites. For 22 month almost 2 years the work on many points was suspended because of the court stay order resulting increase in 50 Billion rupees in the cost of Orange Line

Orange line ki deadline December 2017 thi Jo k court ki Meharbani se jis ne faisla sunane me 8 month zaya kiye without any reason jiski wjha se project ki deadline June 2018 hogai


So 200 billion initial cost of the project
50 Billion increase thanks to Lahore High court
9 billion was allocated to the historical sites as per judgement of LHC
Rs 20 billion were spent as taxes over the usage of the machinery being utilised in the project and for the training of the labourers along with serving as social security and plantation of trees along the track of the train and various other expenses

If anyone has issue with the increase in the cost ask Lahore High court to pay for the increase
