PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that her party is open to dialogue with the military establishment "within the ambit of the Constitution" and provided that the incumbent PTI government is removed from office.
"The army is my institution," Maryam said in an interview with BBC Urdu. "We will definitely talk but within the ambit of the Constitution," she added.
The PML-N leader said she was not against state institutions but stressed that there would be no dialogue in secret.
The "incumbent government will have to go if we are to move forward", she added.
Maryam claimed that the "establishment had reached out to her close aides" but had not "contacted her directly".
She also said the idea of dialogue through the platform of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) can be deliberated upon.

Minus Imran Khan
"The dialogue is with the people now," she said, adding that the incumbent government was "so nervous" over the public response that "they do not know how to react".
"The biggest stakeholders are the public," she said, dismissing the notion that the PML-N was headed towards a dead-end due to its politics.
Maryam said her party has its own narrative while PPP had its own.
Refusing to comment on a "minus-Imran Khan" strategy, Maryam said it was necessary to remove the PTI government to take the country out of its current crisis.
"Whenever the government takes notice of a commodity, its prices shoot up," she said.
"The biggest issue is that people's mandate was stolen. We need free and fair elections," she said. "It is time for the incumbent government to be held accountable."
Maryam ruled out a coalition with PTI ahead of the Gilgit-Baltistan polls, saying that it did not make sense to form a coalition when the incumbent government was "weakened".

Utter disgrace. Establishment is once again contacting these convicted criminals for NRO and deal.

PTI isnt going anywhere. Despite what the N league and PPP tries to sell, PTI actually has a much larger following in the urban middle class, the very people who started protesting on their own after 2013 election with out any backing. They think they can send PTI packing without any repercussions......think again!

Stupid, she just removed any chance if there was any by calling out in public :D

She is just trying to save her party from dismantling, utter disgrace. They themselves don't know what they actually want :D

PTI is the biggest political party in Pakistan. Has got vote bank among the youth of Pakistan. If anyone in establishment think that PTI can be removed, need to get their head checked.

Its pathetic that state has allowed this criminal and liar (Calibri girl) such freedom to talk all the rubbish and non sense. She belongs to jail along with her corrupt clan.

so she is finally seeing pdm boat sinking and now begging for a dialogue ....this is biggest u-turn of 2020 so far ....but i have a news for her....its all over for your father and your party. kyoee lift nahi kerwa raha aur kerwaye ga

Pakistan, if you want to exist with dignity and have strength as a nation, then DO NOT ever allow these jackals (pml-n, ppp, diesel, altaf) to even exist as political parties. They traitors and sell-outs, these people should have their Pakistani citizenship stripped, they wealth and properties confiscated and then they should be expelled from Pakistan. Zero tolerance for any of these scum-b@$tards.

one has to be A-grade stupid to believe in this. I pity you bro.

while seeing bilawal partying away from PDM earlier narrative, serious rifts within her party, writing is already written on the wall that her moves are failing. Now literally begging to get little bit of favors but guess what, its PTI who is silently gaining from all this despite of average economic performance.
