Lol, GDP per capita means zilch. India's GDP got a boost by reselling Russian oil, few billionaires got richer but average Indians remain piss poor. Compare the per capita income, more specifically median income.

All the indicators point to the fact that Bangladesh's living standard remain far higher than India. Just go through the HDI, per capita consumptions of essential household items.

There is a reason why every sweeper colony in Bangladesh is now filled with Indian Hindu migrants.
