Totally feel you, man. You nailed it in describing Bangladesh, for real.
This is what I think about when I think of tek-na-lajee in India.
A nation of 1.4 Billion which can't even build lawnmowers and imports cell phone parts (in fact whole subassemblies) from China to make cellphones.
When we in Bangladesh are making cellphones and laptops way more from scratch (SMD and wave soldering level). And one of the Bangladeshi company that makes these things (Walton) has more revenue than the 100 year old Indian company (Godrej) because their kanjoosi population won't buy properly sized appliances.
Importing weapons and the BS propaganda with it only goes so far. Cryogenic engine my foot. Build some toilets.
It is eye-opening how many of these "Mera desh Mahaan" deluders keep selectively ignoring their own reality staring them in their own faces....
At least bring your health and hygiene up to Bangladesh standards...
