I do not agree. Pakistan for my family is the only hope. Atleast we had somewhere to go to when things got hot. You are giving undue homage to Gandhi and Nehru when Patel was the original architect of this line of thought. It was Patel who thought the benefits of Partition. Nehru had a genuine dislike for Jinnah, to some extent both were mirror copies of each other. Both were British educated wealthy lawyers, one was Pseudo Hindu and the other was Pseudo Muslim. Nehru rejection of Cabinet Mission Plan was partly result from his personal tiff with Jinnah. Patel on the other hand was a strategic thinker, he knew in order for India to progress and carved its own path, partition (may be temporary) was an acceptable outcome.

left student parties (or any student party affiliated to non academic parties) are as moronic as the other mentioned by a simple logic : those brats should be in classrooms rather than on the street destroying state's property. unfortunately, the destroying part seems to have become synonymous with the right wing student groups (naturaly,....in course of time when the left/cong parties come to centre/state, their student wings will be associating the "destroying" with themselves.)
