According to Indian side, this incident took place inside Indian waters , 20 nautical miles from Kerala and according to Indian Maritime zone and the agreements which India has signed with Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and Maldives . its for India more than 24 nautical miles which comes under Indian control.

The major issue is this that Indian coast guard around to clock work is vigilant and here its not Somalia coast that anyone can kill fishermen by terming them Pirates. We all know what is happening and how illegal fishing is being down on the coast of Somalia and even yeman and here India is even keeping this aspect via dealing the case.
