Socialist

The word socialist was added to the Preamble by the Forty-second Amendment in 1976. It implies social and economic equality. Social equality in this context means the absence of discrimination on the grounds only of caste, colour, creed, sex, religion, or language. Under social equality, everyone has equal status and opportunities. Economic equality in this context means that the government will endeavor to make the distribution of wealth more equal and provide a decent standard of living for all. This is in effect emphasized a commitment towards the formation of a welfare state. India has adopted a socialistic and mixed economy and the government has framed many laws to achieve the aim.

You are on a wrong street again.. This is what I learnt today..

Socialism and Communism though are ideological doctrines but there are lots of differences.

one of the major difference is that socialism generally refers to an economic system, while communism generally refers to both an economic and a political system.Socialist system does not control the society whereas communist system controls the society.

another difference is Communinists are completely against capitalism but socialists believes that capitalism can be a part of ideal socialist society.

I hope this clarifies that socialist is an economic ideology where communist is econo-political ideology.

.And as for Kishenji he is a media freak..i am sure that his media freakishness will kill him one day..The Maoists just like any other organisations start with good ideology but become rogue..The paramilitary and police is going a dencent job hunting them that they made offer to ceasefire..They even agreed to send a fax up on Home ministries saying..this means how much they wanted the operations by the forces to end ..The burning of entire village by the Maoists did surely loss the support from the villagers also..there days are counted..As the govt bring devalopments works to the backward places as home ministry planned ,they are doomed..

I think the Maoist have to wait till 2100 instead. Seriously, I mean let's face reality. I don't think GoI is just going to sit there and watch their country getting invaded. I think they will definitely do something about it.

For example, look at Taliban, which plans to invade Pakistan 2 years ago, and even threaten to take over Pakistan's nuclear assets, and in fact many people thought it was true and was going to happen, But now look where the Taliban is. They are dwindling.

I am sure if Pakistan is able to take out the Taliban, which have taken so many suicide bombings over the past few years, I am sure India which has a stronger military power, is able to execute and take out the Maoists rebel. I have no doubt about that.

Actually socialism is a poor nation's wisdom. Until unless we are not going to achieve uniform prosperity (without challenging human freedom) socialist approach is the best way. As the prosperity may prevail in India we will adopt more capitalist ideology to pace our prosperity manifolds.

The reason why maoists/naxalites are challenging establishment is nothing but poor performance of establishment in management and distribution of resources;specifically for very remote India.

As we be able to correct those mistakes (ASAP now)this madness will die spontaneously. They are ultras and very patriotic people only external forces are making it little complicated but soon we be able to check their feeding lines. This is what minister is trying to do and thus exaggerating Maoists plans to takeover India.

Interesting {i will not mention the name (not to trigger their insecure mentality)}, as we have defeated and overwhelmed many regimes and their so called invincible ideologies without firing a bullet since past centuries. Soon they will be changing their ideology on Indian model of socialist democracy, just wait few years. Their think tanks have started to work it out. Lets us retain what they are saying now for future arguments.

We can' be very sure about it. They might not do suicide bombings, but they could sure recruit small kids from this poor villages to do it, and its still plausible. So we can't be too quick to judge. But if they did that, then GoI must be quick to eliminate this Maoists Rebels, but for this Maoists to take over India, I still doubt they could

Note that only paramilitary and police forces were involved in the operations..Not army..The govt is not using the brute force.also govt is trying to improve the conditions of those backward areas to get people out of this menace..if the plan is working according to plan ..people joining the naxals will lessen and some of the actions dont by Naxals like burning the village because the villagers refuse to join them also reduce the support for naxals among villagers..And also there is no strong will among them to become suicide bombers..most of them are criminals who came to loot in the name of naxalisms..they only care for them selves
