Muslims and Christians are obsessed with conversion numbers. Its a fact. And the Indian OP finally found a gold mine, he basically searches for anything anti Pakistan and anti Muslims. I think its a serious disease in his country. A lot of people suffer from obsession with Pakistan and Islam in his country. I have told them many times its bad for their mental health.

Muslims are more obsessed with converting other Muslims to their sect. You know all those salafis that go around doing dawa? I have never seen them try and convert non Muslims as zealously as they tell Muslims of other sects how wrong they are.

As for Christians they are busy buying converts in Indian villages.

Any Hadith that contradicts the Qur'an is not worthy of a second look. The only ones who misuse them are the clergy desperate to keep the ignorant flock in line.

I know about Koran . What is Hadith and what is Sharia. How it is important to Islam and how they are related to Koran?
Is there any mention of these in Koran or whether their authenticities are confirmed in Koran (by God?) ? Any other similar holy texts other than these Two ( Hadith and Sharia)?

hadith are the reported sayings of the Holy Prophet (saw), Sharia is based on the Qur'an and Hadiths and the Sunnah (practise of the prophet saw).
Qur'an contains direct commandment, the Sunnah and the hadiths is the example on how these commandments are meant to be implemented.

judging the authenticity of a Hadith is a complex framework but the most important criteria is that it must not contradict the Qur'an and also must have an establish line of trusted narrators.

The Qur'an is the only Holy Book.

If true - then it is perfectly within their right. Religion is a personal thing. Why should they call themselves Muslims if they never had the belief, had weak belief or felt "compelled" to believe it due to social/family pressure? It should come naturally from the heart.

there are well over 1 billion Muslims in the world and the number is growing significantly especially in the west (Alhamdolillah)

and to address those here yapping away about death penalty and all --- there is no compulsion in Islam. I wish the thick-heads here would actually pick up a Quran and read it. It's available in over 150 languages.

what we all agree on is that radicals/fanatics of all religious groups bring ill repute and only instill fear, forgetting that God loves you all and is the only judge. I'm not a religious preacher nor overly religious, but this is just common sense.....If you believe in something and it brings you peace - then good for you.

South Asian sub-continent saw HUGE rise in Islam. There will always be disgruntled elements who still to this day cry and moan over it.....RSS/Shiv Sena credentials, mental slavery and intellectual laziness will do that to you.
