MMS knows this is his last year as PM. Even if UPA comes to power again (don't ask how), the next in line is Pappu and the reason for it would be the same as how Uday Chopra gets to play lead roles.

He was not the PM in 90s.

What he was praised for was his work as a FINANCE MINISTER.

You get praised for what you DO. Not what you DID.

His current role is to take leadership of this country like a brave, confident, far-sighted leader.

NOT to dance around a lucky foreigner's fingers and dictate the same to the country.

Wake up. Open your damn eye and stop basking in the glory of the past.

He's a person who has been given the top job of the country and has the fates of billions of people in his hands.

If he is incapable of refusing to a foreign, corrupt woman who has no eligibility other than being married into the secular dynasty, then he is a unworthy of wielding this position and is an EMBARRASSMENT to the top job's kursi.

If we Indians have to move forward, then we need to stop idolizing the past of ANOTHER ROLE and see what has been the performance as the PM.


Compare this man to leaders like Putin of Russia or Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal.

No need to go that far.

Compare him to even Indira or Vajpayee.

Do you really see him matching a tenth of their leadership?

She is not eligible to the PM, which is exactly why she chose a puppet through which she could run the country.
By puppet, I don't mean incapable essentially, but rather those who are 'yes madam' types and have no voice or conscience of their own.

Not one but five:

1- SM Krishna
2- AK Anthony
3- Pratibha Patil
4- MMS
5- (now) Shinde

Pranab Mukherjee was the only leader of calibre in their current party structure and though not good, but still credible than the rest. Just because he had a voice, he was put into a ceremonial power to pave the way clean for Rahul G.

Here we don't have a presidential democracy where the candidate directly interacts with the population and results are determined.

Instead, MMS was a last minute 'best' choice for PM role because of his inability to take strong decisions.

He has been a good finance minister and had worked hard in 90s no doubt. I will give him that. Even the most conservative right wing members in India agree.

But his performance as a PM has been abysmal especially when he is toyed around like that by a woman who is so powerful but has not a single ounce of responsibility for the country.
