Its Right its Just Engine Test, to satisfy final starting on 24th sep.

While strictly not absolutely necessary, it seems that ISRO used the test firing to change the distance that MOM will be from Mars from about 720 km to somewhere around 500 km which was the original planned distance. All previous trajectory corrections were done using the smaller thrusters for a longer duration, this one was done using the LAM engine test firing. Some correction but more a precursor to the main event.
