It might be nothing to with designing of the sub. If I would have been enemy I would be more interested in technical data like sonar communication channels and other sensor related data. If they are successful it's bad. But be assured its Russian tech so they might have planed for this too. Any counter measures would ave even taken. But the main question is WTF intelligence engensies were doing ?
