Malik Riaz raises questions on transparency of the suo moto*case

I have not seen the episode you recommended but by guessing from above posted videos it was Mehar Bokhari who is leading the whole conversation and situation.
She started off with out of context SMS, and names! why was she sitting with phone and even attending calls in middle of QA?
Apparently, she initiated the out of context discussion, and at one moment MR questioned the camera, and she was quick in reply that it would be edited later.
I have very strong feeling that her conduct was deliberate.
I don't think she won too much of out of it.
I think yes they were in problem, because lack of understanding between 2 anchors.
The clips which were sent to you-tube , were delibretly manged & cuted with target in mind, when you see full off-air video of the whole, incident then you will know, that actully MUBAShIR & MEHER were fighting each other, What question they should do with MR, & you will know exactly who was AIESHAA , at one point MUBASHIR went out, means quiet, in anger with MEHER!
Whole point is , the MR interview wasn't planted!
Plz watch, last of crossfiire of last thursday , & check what MEher has to show, it will clear a lot of mis-understanig of the whole issue.
But in reality , GEO tv is behind all this mishapp!
Thanks sir.

I think in this video mubashar luqman trapped Malik Riaz and sold this video, during all this video he is playing, provoking for plot, highliting aq gilani's name
These shamefull anchor may be got more money from zardari or someone else
I said earlier b4 the sooner MR escape from these ill advisors and cheaters he will be better off

Sir CJ has done no deal with any media according to information every channel was supposed to do interview of Malik Riaz but fortunately this video came out so every one ran away CJ has gained more moral authority by bringing son in front of court and if his son gets punished he will become more stronger and than he will take on this corrupt mafia with lot more force than ever before

Well, my dear mate,
Its your opinion, you can only wish , it may proven right or it might proven wrong?
But when you give investigation in the hands of this PPP led-govt, one shouldn't expect any mercy?
There were many questions razed when Cj gave Nawaz Sharif , a clean sheet & open NRO cases against PPP & its leadership?
This is the golden chance they have, in their hands, surly they will not going let it slip away, if CIA can find (shakeel afridi) for their job, PPP can surly find another Cj, with full support of the crunt ones?
The funny logics , can't run any institution, like the one preasented recently, that because Arsalan is old enough , Cj is not responsible of his actions, & what if arsalan was in his 20,s ? Maybe cjs lover club would have , closed their eyes & could have said, ohh ARsaln isn't young enough to stand a trial or he is just a kid , playing with papa,s pen?
Dammge has already done, now Cj, shouldn't had taken this sumo-moto , & shouldn't had posted himself for the hearings, he failed to not to fall, into enemy trap!
With his family,s london trip videos , & other emotional evidences in enemy,s hands, cj is bound to be croupted now, the best thing he can do, is to get over it, & leave the institution with better people to run it.
Just like musharaf , did?
I think, if cj can do that, we can think of him as our new president , of any ARMY backed govt.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry Should Resign
For six long months, Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry of Pakistan knew that his son was on the take from a notorious property baron Malik Riaz Husain, and yet he did nothing to stop his son's illegal activities. Mr. Chaudhry was too busy waging a much-needed jihad against corruption by other powerful individuals through his suo moto actions.

Mr. Chaudhry finally acted against his son after the allegations became public in Pakistani media. His action appears to be self-serving to try and salvage his own reputation. Malik Riaz Husain, CEO of Bahria Town, has now offered detailed evidence and documentation to back up his charges against Chaudhry's son Arsalan Iftikhar of accepting bribes worth $3.7 million (Pak Rs. 340 million).

Predictably, Mr. Chaudhry's fellow judges are trying to silence the accuser by initiating contempt proceedings against him, a favorite tool of the current serving judges of the highest court in Pakistan to chill dissent. Other Chaudhry supporters are in denial. They are crying "conspiracy" to try and absolve him of a very serious lapse.

Judge Chaudhry's failure to act when he first learned about his son's corruption charges has put a harsh spotlight on Pakistan's Supreme Court as an institution. It has put at risk the noble efforts of Mr. Chaudhry to rid Pakistan of corruption at the highest levels of government. What's most important now is to try and restore confidence in Pakistan's higher judiciary as an institution.

Mr. Chaudhry must resign as a first step toward rebuilding trust in the institution. Other senior judges must then step in to order a thorough investigation into the activities of Mr. Malik Riaz Husain, and they should let the evidence lead them wherever it goes, including many powerful individuals in government, legislatures, political parties, lawyers' community and mass media who are alleged to have accepted illegal payments from him in return for lucrative contracts and other favors to Bahria Town.

The culture of corruption must end for Pakistan to offer hope to its people for their future.

even 2 months , what Cj has done?
nothing , instead he gave him shelter of his power?
its a planned move, BY cj & he is going to face it later any way, & he cant getaway from it, ppp is going to make it sure buddy!
Iftikhar Chaudhry is today probably the most tainted and politicized judge in Pakistan. Chief Justice given his very open alliance with Nawaz Sharif & imran khan. it remained a fact that Iftikhar Chaudhry had heavily politicized himself, thus becoming the most unsuitable and inappropriate person for the position of a judge. How can we now expect him to be balanced and trust him as a judge? He lost all credibility after becoming politicized.

Riaz given 7 more days to hire counsel

The Supreme Court hearing for a show-cause notice issued to Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz Hussain over a controversial press briefing resumed under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Justice, Mian Shakirullah Jan on Thursday.
Malik Riaz was not able to arrange a lawyer to represent him in the case as most of the lawyers have been avoiding Riaz to show solidarity with the Supreme Court against the conspiracies hatched against it.
Riaz told the court that he was facing a media trial and requested for ten days to arrange for a lawyer. He also claimed that in case he failed on his commitment then he would face the punishment worthy of a criminal.
Jan while giving his remarks during the hearing said that every citizen has the right to defend himself and in case Malik Riaz could not arrange a defence lawyer for himself then the state would provide him with one.
Islamabad High Court Bar Association President Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar, who is also a petitioner, informed the court that no one was stopping Malik Riaz from obtaining a lawyer for his defence, and that the defendant could avail the services of any lawyer within his personal capacity and no bar association would cause hindrance to it.
Gujjar also requested the court to grant Malik Riaz four days to arrange for a lawyer.
Earlier, Riaz* had requested the court to provide him with stringent security on the occasion of his court appearance.
In the request submitted to the Supreme Court, the real state tycoon said that his life was in danger and that he was receiving threats, hence he required strict security measures.
Some lawyers had hurled threats at Malik Riaz during one of his court appearance and others had mistreated him on another occasion, according to Riaz.
He added that a media campaign was being run to incite the masses against him.
Earlier, Chief Justice Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry had taken a suo moto notice against his own son Arsalan Iftikhar and real state tycoon Malik Riaz, following allegations leveled against them on a private news channel.
