Not the religion it's the law in the Maldives and who in there right mind would chose Sri lanka over the Maldives on holiday it's like comparing Haiti to Jamaica

Have you ever been to SL?...I have visited both SL and the Maldives...as a kid. Both are beautiful countries...so point on comparision is a fail!

They just reverse the order of eating on the day. 2-3 meals a day with full stomach and still call it fasting.

If country doesnt care then why should we. however people must be told about such restrictions in advance so that they avoid visiting in that specific time.

Maldives has per capita gdp 4 times higher than India, a number the Indians probably will never reach in their lifetime !!
