I never said that Pakistan should have gone to Yemen, I'm simply telling you that from the Saudi perspective Pakistan "back-stabbed" them. That's why you saw a collapse in relations, which wasn't repaired until Imran Khan literally sucked up to MBS after Kashoggi incident and drove him whenever he came.

Muslim nations have helped Pakistan, even during conflict. Saudi has provided oil - which obviously powers weapons. Turkey and Pre-Khomeini Iran had provided weapons to Pakistan during the war. Tell me about the Pashtuns - from Afghanistan - that were fighting in Kargil alongside Pakistani troops? Are you going to just ignore everything here as if it didn't happen? Muslims countries have given Pakistan essentially billions to support it in the Nuclear Program, do you think they did it for peace? No, they did it certainly preparing for conflict.

The country that has done the MOST for Pakistan is China. From CPEC, to the transfer of some of the world's most advanced weapons systems to us, to name a few. Guess what, the Chinese are mainly atheist and don't believe in God.......so much so for the "Ummah"..................a lot of people can't reconcile this fact.

Yes, I know. I often buy a shwarama from a new Lebanese fast food place that is delicious [you got to give me the rcipe for the sauces etc] and often there are Syrians/Pal/other Levants there. I must say the women are pleasing to the eye and would fit in easily with North Western Pakistani demography. On the contrary I find Sudani, many Egyptians, many Yemani very disagreeable to my eye because of the African factor of blunt nose and frizzy hair. This is just my opinion. Couldn't care less. But the Chinese have given us the means to overcome our existential threats. i.e. China has made Pakistan the 1st EVER nation in all recorded human history to be able to subdue an enemy that is more than 7× bigger than us and has the full backing of the West and Russia, for 72 years..........

By the way I entirely agree with you that there is no role for Islam in geo-politics other than just as rhetoric. It is entirely foolish and delusional to think so. I am always surprised that of all the people so many Pakistani's fall for this ummah pipedream. Ask them who is Pakistan number one ally? Answer China. The fact that they are athiest heathens is missed. On the other hand Afghanistan and Iran get lot of flak but both are Muslim. This alone exlodes the myth of ummah. Islam has a place in the private person of a individual.

For the help that Pakistan initially gave to China and for the strategic benefits it offers it, I just don't feel that Pakistan has gotten much in return.

China has gone to war with US for North Korea and depending on the conditions, will do so again. Will China go to war with India for Pakistan? Look at 1971, Pakistani's had this foolish idea that Chinese troops would fall out of the sky to help. That never came. China will not fire a single bullet in defense of Pakistan.

North Korea has rapidly expanded its nuclear technology with ICBM, SLBM, ballistic missile submarines. You can bet they got help from China. On the other hand, China has refused Pakistan help in a number of fields.

If Pakistan was critically important, than why is Pakistan buried in debt from CPEC? Shouldn't the Chinese have built everything on grants instead of loans? Why is it that China can give some African countries grants, but loans to Pakistan? Why is it that Bangladesh exports had more access to China that Pakistani exports did not, despite having FTA with China? If Pakistan is potentially providing China a naval base, tell me, why doesn't Pakistan get a nuclear-powered submarine in exchange? If Russia can lease one to India, why can't China do the same? Shouldn't Pakistan get some of the better Chinese ships instead of garbage like F-22P, which should have at least been free?
