Chief of Malaysia Defence Forces General Zulkifeli Bin Mohammed Zin called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood in Rawalpindi on Monday.
Matters of professional interest with an emphasis on mutual cooperation between the two armed forces figured during the meeting.
Both the sides reiterated the resolve to further enhance the bilateral collaboration.
General Zulkifeli Bin Mohammed Zin appreciated the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces of Pakistan in eliminating terrorism.
He also praised the commitment and resolve of the people of Pakistan despite multiple challenges.
The chief of Malaysia Defence Forces also called on Army Chief General Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi.
They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including defence and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation.
