You can't force people to marry, it's not only illegal but also un-Islamic, encouraging people to marry at young age is a different thing.
There is no sane person who would deny marriage when offered among the youth. But kia karen ? Kids are used to fahash music videos and much more and the free mixing is encouraged in this petty society
Is this coercive measure even Islamic? Surely not, probably some tribal bullshit disguised as religious so it cannot be questioned.
Ottomans had it, And it was perfect measure to keep the society balanced. Many actions were allowed in Prophet’s time but Umar RA later on discouraged and banned some actions in order to keep society balanced.

Didn't Hazrat Muhammad himself marry when he was 25, not 18 ? So what is the "Islamic" explanation given by the political leader ?
You didn’t research on this.

He married late, at 25, At that time Islam wasn’t there. Later on, He did say once, Had there been Islam at my time, I wouldn’t have delayed the Marriage. This was to discourage late marriage

marriage is an adult responsibility not a youthful adventure.

no sane person would pick marriage over free sex. anyone who denies this is insanely hypocrite

Divorce rates are high because people are marrying for sex not for home making. They bolt at first signs of trouble.

The stigma of divorce in the culture compounds the problem. You cannot go veggie after tasting blood.

Its a warped loop the society is stuck in between Sex and God.

Well title seems like PPP have decided to implement law. Needs to be changed?

Sindh's Provincial Assembly has introduced a new draught law that will make marriage compulsory for 18-year-olds as soon as feasible.

The Act specifies that in the event of a delayed marriage, parents must notify the Deputy Commissioner in writing and provide a detailed explanation. If the explanation supports a fine, the bill directs the parents to deposit a set amount (which will be revealed once the Act is passed) into the Deputy Commissioner's Office official bank account.

But what was his base reasoning for this ?

And speaking of early marriages, this was the ruling of the Gujarat High Court in India in 2014 :
The Gujarat High Court has said that a Muslim girl can marry when she attains puberty or completes 15 years of age.

The court made the observation while quashing legal proceedings against a Muslim youth who had married a 17-year-old girl of his community under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

Justice J B Pardiwala in the order passed on December 2 said that according to the Muslim Personal Law, a Muslim girl, if she attains puberty or completes the age of 15 years, is "competent" to get married.

"It is not in dispute that the boy and girl both are Muslims. According to the Personal Law of Muslims, the girl no sooner than she attains the puberty or completes 15 years, whichever is earlier, is competent to get married without the consent of her parents," the order said.

The court gave the judgement in connection with a plea filed by a Surat-based youth Yusuf Lokhat seeking to set aside the charge sheet filed against him in the city's court under several sections of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006.

"It appears that the parents of the girl have also now accepted the marriage. The man and his wife both are personally present in the Court. They confirm about their marriage. The girl submits that she is happily residing with her husband at her matrimonial home. Having regard to the peculiar facts of the case, in my view, no case is made out to prosecute the criminal proceedings further," the order said.

As per the case details, Lokhat married a 17-year-old girl from his community in February this year. Following the marriage, the girl's father, who was initially against the marriage, wrote to a Superintendent of the 'Children Home for Girls' in Surat, who had initiated legal proceedings against the boys and other three persons
known to the boy.

In the FIR, the father of the girl had stated that his daughter could not have performed the 'nikaah' with Lokhat as she was a minor aged about 17 years and three months at that time.

The FIR had been lodged against the accused persons for the offence punishable under Sections 9 (punishment of rigourous imprisonment of two years for adult male marrying a child), 10 (whoever performs, conducts or directs any child marriage) and 11 (for permitting and promoting child marriage by not reporting it) of the Prohibition of
Child Marriage Act, 2006.

The high court, while setting aside all the charges, said "all further proceedings pursuant to such FIR shall stand terminated."
So 15 seems okay to me. Or maybe 16. Of course as long as the marriage is not a forced one. And the court made this ruling just for Indian Muslims.

But we must also think about the very institution of marriage. Why did it come about ? Should it remain in the near-future Mars colonies in the mid-2030s ? In fact after the Russian revolution of 1917 the communist party initiated steps to dissolve the traditional family system so as to bring about a more scientific society, but problems arose. And in the future when children are born in artificial wombs would it be necessary for a "mother" and "father" to be constantly around a child ? Even at present there are orphanages where the caring of the children is done not by the biological parents. It can be made possible for a person to be considered adult at 15 or 16 and that person be alloted a house and employment or further education.

what about 2nd marriage at age 30 and 3rd at age 40 ?
I like the idea, already married two searching for 3rd one, just little afraid of chittar parade

Man having more wives makes your life paradise......

Both have competition to make you happy ...good good food + +

Ahh but sometimes both fix me too much so that is why searching for 3rd one non-Pakistani.....
