Quality is better than quantity. Our Air Force is smaller but our pilots are better. Same is true for PA

Pakistan has always been about challenging India with less numbers but a stronger punch.

We have quantity and quality for only doing enough for defensive postures. If we don't change for offensive then the status quo will be maintained.

Members can have their say as they wish, however forum administration still has legal, social & ethical responsibility to ensure that everything falls in line. Last week someone had suggested killing activists through accidents today you are suggesting hiring terrorists to wreck havoc in neighboring country, this is absolutely against the norms of a civilized world & such discussion cannot be allowed on forum, atleast not on my watch....you are more than welcome to report this matter in GHQ & discuss with site administration

I know sir , PTM members shared screen shots of that conversation . Thats why i as a member suggested him not to say anything or everything which can be used to malign this forum/Pakistan .

We have the rise of the Reich II in the neighbouring country and all you can think of is political correctness? Get real man , they are raping ,starving, abusing, murdering and committing genocide and all you can think of is "forum administration still has legal, social & ethical responsibility". We have been close to nuclear war twice where the enemy would happily incinerate you, your family, friends and country, come on be serious. They are occupying our northern most part of the country and daily massacring women, children and men, raping, sniping and bombing them on a daily basis and all you are concerned about is not being seen to support freedom fighters who would put this to an end. The enemy is purchasing lethal weapons on a daily basis to kill and mutilate us and the indigenous Muslims and hiring mercenaries from Israel and Nepal who have openly attacked us. Seriously you seem to be out of touch with reality and the seriousness of the crisis that is about to behold us. Corona is nothing compared to what is being prepared beyond the horizon. Further your premise is wrong, I am advocating not attacking and reeking havoc in a neighboring country but am suggesting we liberate our occupied land of Northern Pakistan by whatever means it takes including the hiring of foreign entities to help us accomplish that goal.

I have become more vocal for liberating occupied Pakistani land ever since seeing the google earth image yesterday showing Kashmir geographically as North Pakistan and not North East as 2D Atlases show. Unfortunately ethics and war don't go well together and a few words on a defense forum aren't going to change it. You would be better off accepting the dire consequences of the Nazis next door and supporting their removal because they are preparing your genocide and the quicker you accept this the better it will be for all of you in Pakistan.

Pakistan should officially desist from using the term Kashmir and start calling it Northern Pakistan which was referred to as Azad Kashmir and IOK. In my vocab these terms are extinct and the quicker Pakistan changes it's name for that region the quicker it will be resolved one way or another.

what you have said is all correct and let their be no doubt about that. We should do whatever is necessary to keep over adversaries in check, be it internal threats or external. However I do not support your narrative of using chechens, uzbeks and other non state actors to keep our adversaries in check,that is like supporting terrorism. We condemned the comments made by that gaurav clown during his circus show on Republic world and here we are expected to support same narrative?

Yeah, but a close analysis of the defensive layout may suggest that the attacker will require more than superior force ratios. Once you find strong-points on top, well constructed, able to hold hold out for may be a week after being cut off, then its makes the task a bit more difficult.



For IA, supplies are not much of a problem now. From Battalion locations back till Division locations, supplies of all types have been dumped to last a period of almost 6 months.

Peaks are also difficult to take because the defender is already looking down on you. If he gets a mere hint of a build up of any type, may it be infantry, artillery or supplies, he will just reinforce its peak location and the whole attack attack gets jeopardized before launch. This was one of the main reasons we were unable to capture Poonch in 1971, even though we were attacking downhill.

Helis have alot of potential to be ambushed in mountains, examples of Kargil and our War on Terror are there....

Howeve , the proven way, still today, is of infiltration.... No matter how much force your deploy for defence, there are always gaps through which whole battalions can sneak into... And then the defenses start to crumble, unraveled.

We don't have logistical support base of 50K troops let alone millions there. Remember it, We are at disadvantageous position viz a viz India all along the LOC. V few places where Pakistani posts have higher ground and in those places, our route to top is long one. Without any strong logistic and airlift capability, army will never be able to do anything other than engaging in long range artillery duels.

adding to the tactical disadvantage - we are also outgunned. On average 2 coys for each unit of theirs is deployed.
