Confusion is in your mind. You simply ignoring the ground realities and facts from history.
Look, 1999 proved that Indian nukes didn't deter Pakistan to launch its military operations inside Indian controlled territory. Indian deterrence is already a failure since 1999! The result and claims of victory by both sides do not matter ,what matter is that Indian deterrence simple didn't work. If Pakistan was afraid of Indian nukes, it wouldn't have gone inside Indian territory and hold it for months isn't it?
Feb 2019 should be taken a utter humiliation for India and its establishment. God know what you lot are celebrating , the shooting down and parading for your pilot or a own kill of mi17? And then small matter of Su30 blown out of sky and Indian army chief barrack getting pinged by Pakistani SOWs.
If we are not afraid of Indian nukes (proven during Kargil operation), what Modi or anyone else for that matter got anything to do with it?
You are ignorant and just making shyte up as you go. Let me take you through one more time. This time very slowly.
-India is the status quo power in J&K.
- Indians couldn’t care less if Pak army becomes double the size of what it is today, became the largest nuke power in the world or just rolled over and died. Indians just want Pak to keep its busy hands off IOK.
- India has steadfastly since 1948 kept world’s undue attention away from IOK. It has maintained this despite serious provocation from Pak and heavy loss of life through militancy.
- Pak after overtly conducting nuke explosions in 1998 in a very underhanded way created the Kargil crisis in 1999 by occupying vacated Indian military posts during winter under nuclear overhang. Main purpose of this craziness from Musharraf was to create an untenable situation for India and force international intervention in Kashmir. This nuclear blackmail is even more deplorable considering Kargil operation was underway when prime minister of India was in Pak on a peace seeking mission.
- Pak had not fully thought through its Kargil misadventure consequences. Neither did it foresee the overwhelming force used by India.
- Kargil is one of the biggest mistakes committed by Pak so far. It lost face. Forced to withdraw from occupied peaks. US ditched Pak unceremoniously. Branded an irresponsible nuke state. AQ Khan episode reinforced this.
- Pak was probably inches away from being declared a terrorist nation before 9/11 happened.
- Kargil was not about nuclear deterrence, it was all about Pak’s nuclear blackmail.
Feb26 is a game changer for India. It broke its self imposed shackles and initiated kinetic action. Bombed Pak sovereign territory. This permanently alters Pak behaviour in IOK. Pak was getting away with murder, not anymore.
Again Pak was totally unprepared for Aug5. Not in its wildest dreams it anticipated India will annex IOK always assuming India will never internationalise Kashmir issue the way it did. Even today Pak has no coherent plan to counter india’s move in Aug5.
