I know... they are wonderful..

But the video could have been done better, Neha Dhupia needs too loose weight....Stupid choroegrapher and bad naration in between...but what a lovely lovely song. THE CALL is amazing.

.
eww... OMG Xulfi's singing!

Such a talented individual, sold out to the pop culture... :(.

Lemme show you real song he did a couple years back when he was the lead for Entity Paradigm.

http://www.sangeetradio.com/music/Pakistani/Pop/Entity Paradigm/Irtiqa/06 - Aghosh.wma

He's completely wasting himself and call both. Call used to be this heavy rock sound before he came along, and Call's vocalist could pull it off. He can SCREAM man, just awesome. The chemistry for me just isn't there now.

I've spent some time with these guys... I remember I was covering their concert in Dubai once. Entity Paradigm (EP) was a 7 member band. They all flew in from different places. Xulfi's like this super genius, always in charge. They were sitting in the hotel lobby, I was taking notes. Lol they are deciding on the song arrangements right then n there.

Xulfi suggests, we should start with a heavy number, what's the most rocking song we got? Fawad (their vocalist) suggests let's do "Humein Azma", lol being a total Xulfi fan, I knew their songs inside out. I'm like hey try out Fitrat! And it was picked!

Salman Albert (the drummer) forgot some of the beats to it. Xulfi plays those beats on his thigh's using his hands.

Now that was a band. They had chemistry. They could pull of stuff like this. Call performed in that show too... They were hit by a water bottle. :) Oh and my band, Aatish performed there as well.

.
From Agosh, the part where Xulfi sings:

Ankh se dhalka jo ab yeh laho
zakham bharne lagay
Sarbasajood hoon uske hazoor
Gunaah dhulnay lagay
Darguzar uss maan ne kia
Faaslay simatne lagay
Wahdahu, uski kok se hoon
Ek hi nabz, ek wajood

Yeh Zameen, meri hai yeh
Khuda ka wajood, mabood hai yeh
Saaya hai, roshni bhi hai yeh
Kadam talay Jannat, meri agosh hai yeh

Now compare this song, its meaning, its seriousness with that noise up there.

I liked Call like this before. This is their original sound. You can even see Jilawatan drumming in the background. Jilawatan was Khurram J Khan's nickname, he was their manager as well. He's one of the best known manager figures in Pakistan and does not drum for them anymore. Call ended up keeping their album's name Jilawatan as well, which means "Exiled".

Just check out the ending of this song.

Naah can't speak fluent Punjabi, but (better than most overseas grown up Punjabis)... We've got a mix culture in our family so ethnic languages were never used in the household. Only Urdu! Which is also quite good considering most overseas Pakistanis can't even read Urdu.

I've got a Dubaian accent (yes there's such a thing!) Lol I was watching my childhood videos and while speaking English I had a malbari accent too! Mostly coz all my childhood teachers were Malbari. It went away as the teaching style changed and lots and lots of television :D.

Best English speakers in India are probably the Goans and to some degree Delhiites. For mumbaians there's no hope, they've got to mix tapori into everything. Everybody's 'boss'. In Pak best English speakers are Isloos and then in some circles amongst Lahoris and Karachians.

. Mumbaikers arent that good english speakers in my opinion. They have an accent and they just dont accept it. Malayalee's coming to dubai are usually lower or middle class. There is a lot of difference in the kind of education they might have recieved to that of the upper class. Speaking a Language is a personal talent, You cant generalize the way you have done. I dont have malayalee accent, you could call mine a mix of scottish/english, but my mom has a malayalee accent, while my sister who studied all her college life bachelors and masters in bangalore has a very northi accent,

.
Ever heard Gujjus speak hindi? That's the best, "tere ko, mere ko, tere ko, mere ko"

.
Heheh, I was stuck with rajastani marwadi gal for 4 years. Most of Hindi is from her!!! In the end she learned malayalm fluently while I had my broken hindi......Met couple of her Gujarati relatives, god i thought Munnabhai accent had an evil'er' twin..lol
