Being hot and blonde is a Norwegian's key to success in life. Skills? Talent? Hardwork? Who needs them when you can playfully flirt with the judges:angel:.

It might be hard to look at it, but we Chinese people always know the competition produces productivity. fierce competition exists in all walks of life in China.

Chinese military training is even more harsh than sports training ,Chinese army's doctrine is "more sweat in trainings for less blood in war".

East Asians usually can take more than westerners. Korean and Japanese athletes always train very hard.

Oh no :(
What is her name?

She is Guo Jingjing, ex-world champion & Olympics gold medalist. But it's too late for our friend @Nihonjin1051 for she is married!

Her husband comes from a rich and powerful family, he's grandson of Dr Fok Ying Tung (霍英東; 1923-2006; started as arms dealer in early 1950's, tycoon with businesses across casinos, real estate, petroleum, ports, infrastructure, retail, etc), son of Timothy Fok (霍震霆; GBS JP).

Well, each country has it's own way of competing/training its athletes. For example here in Britain everyone is free to choose in which field they will like to compete. The infrastructure is usually available in many areas/playgrounds/school/colleges etc around the country so there is more chance of youths discovering their talent/which sport they are good in from a young age than in many other developing countries who lack all these(or at least they don't have as much per inhabitant). Money, facilities and media coverage is also the budget to support athletes of all disciplines is much better in the west than developing countries. So this explains why rich countries win more medals than poor/developing countries(well, bar countries like Kenya who have naturally gifted athletes in some particular fields. lol).
So the Chinese system is ok as far as it works for them.Reason they win so many medals during the olympics at par with/more than the best western powers.

That's why I like UK diplomacy (except the strong Atlanticist inclination that somehow makes it look like a less sovereign country). It is cold pragmatist when thought outside the influence of the US. And surprisingly, in the AIIB saga, UK actually acted like a full sovereign nation.

We are gonna be better friend, @mike2000 is back , if you keep up with sovereign foreign policy doctrine :)

On topic, yes, our country, our rules, To see which model is the best, just check the final score in FIBA Asia games of this year of China-India game.
