Agree, Gurkhas are one of the most bravest and honest ppl are on earth... Gurkhas Sikhs and Rajputana/Maratha are three warrior race of india...

Once Hitler said "Give me a Gurkhas I will conquer the world in no time...."

I think you misquoted this. It's Napoleon who said "give me enough ribbon to cover the tunics of my soldiers and I will conquer the world.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

i dont think 40 men killed 75,000 mughals, its simply impossile

please dont bring other topics here, i was arguing about 40 soldiers killing 75,000 men with 250,000 soldiers taking part, it will not even take 40 rambos to get 75,000 killed, the figures are completely flawed... revision should be done on them

or i dont trust wikipedia

Umm.... You didnt need to post that. And I agree with the other guy, Its not possible.

I just sounds like a story, turned to fact.

Look people of mountainous regions have some extra physical stamina built into themselves because of them living in an unfriendly topography as opposed to people living in plains.

However there is no race based bravery theory, all races have some brave people, some coward people and some who mind their own business.

Gurkhas are most famous for their trait of religiously following rules and orders and in army it means a lot.

"A good soldier obeys without question
A good officer commands without doubt"

And yeah Martial race theory has some ugly past behind it, I don't belong to a martial race and would never claim one to be as I know the history behind the martial race theory.

Last but not the least, I laud the bravery of the man!

Arey yaar...when a Gorkha has done a job worth praising then what is the problem appreciating them.

One guy will come and say i m a Sikh so Sikh are the bravest other will come and say i m Pathan and Pathans are the bravest..then a guy from a non-martial race will come and say all martial thing is BS.

Learn to respect others yaar...i m a Rajput and was among the first to reply in this thread...i didnt talk about Rajputs and all their past.
