This London Daily report on "Uighur concentration camp" today showing a picture of a barbed compound in Xinjiang, but on the top of the gate it writes Kindergarten in Chinese, how pathetic. They should first learn to read some Chinese before reporting China..

The reason why the fence is barbed is because in recent years some crazy guys launched couples of knife attacks in Kindergartens and elementary schools and since then all Chiense kindergartens and elementary schools are heavily guarded, that's a common practice in China.

This video at 1:42 shows everyday at the school finishing time the police need to go to the school gates to watch for the kids, that's the most important part of their daily assignment. Safety for our kids takes precedence over all other matters.

I don't see any slit skirts, do you?

LOL

The whole fake Xinjiang concentration camp propaganda plotted by west is only to target Pakistan and China relations. This alliance really really hurting deep to the west. China must need to be given access to indian ocean via Arabian sea for the sake of peace in the world.

I only thought the western median call Xinjiang vocational and tech schools and training centers "concentration camps" now it seems they expand the concept to Kindergartens.

In fact, US high schools are more heavily guarded. Perhaps we should start calling them Gulags.

At times I wonder why we do not have a similar type of disinformation warfare against Western interests (those that are in open ideological-information warfare against China)?

It's true that you will see a lot of police presence in Xinjiang, but if you want peace and prosperity, a safe place where people can fully enjoy their lives and get rich, that's the price you have to pay, especially for some volatile regions.

You don't see police presence in Syria , or maybe Iraq or Afghanistan, some criminals can have the freedom to run wild to bomb and kill civilians. China is not such a country and will never be one.

People have different perspetives on security issues, everyday I have to go through the security and have my backpack scanned when taking the subway in Beijing, sometimes in the subway station the police stopped me for ID check. Americans may think that's blatant violation of human rights, but most Chinese see them as working so hard day and night to make sure no harm happen to us.

If any Chinese person, with knowledge preferably, could shed some light on a few things which are repeated in Western articles about Uyghurs:

1. Are there any restrictions on children fasting in Ramazan?

2. Any restrictions on reading Quran and going to after-school Quran classes for children?

3. Are there any restrictions on beard or hijab in Xinjiang?

4. How many people are in re-education camps? What are the crimes?

5. Is it true that Uyghur who have visited Pakistan and other countries are targeted by authorities?

Only the government can answer those accusing questions and I dare your government to point fingers at them. China can do whatever China thinks suits her the best, whoever points fingers at us we will cut them off.

Do you know of any No Go Areas in Britain?

China has been under those China bashing western propoganda for decades and is pretty much used to that, we don't try to explain cause we always know that's useless and they'll keep at it anyway, but, China always comes out stronger through those bad propaganda, they only make China stronger, the west can always bring it on. The more they badmouth us , the more it shows how they fear us.

Instead of the cutting off fingers, explaining the truth and being transparent about the issue would go along way in fighting that propaganda.

If any Chinese person here has firsthand knowledge to disprove these accusations, please share it with us.

We only want to know the facts about these issues as they directly relate to our religion, which we hold most sacred.

No one will tell you even we know, that's our domestic affairs, better get your big nose out of it. Our sovereignty is what we hold most sacred.

Did we raise the question of what you should do to your minorities and how you should treat non Muslim population in your country? Did we blame you for the killings of our engineers? We never try to meddle in your internal affairs and Pakistani government returns the favor, but you, who do you think you are to interrogate our domestic policies!

Several reasons for this. This is a Pakistani forum, hence we are debating openly about all issues and trying to learn. Also Islamic societies (like Western societies) have freedom of thought and expression so we don’t feel like we need to hold ourselves back when asking details.

Maybe this is the difference with communism, you can’t speak your mind unless the state approves.

I am sitting in the US, and I am free to criticize the policies of my government. In Pakistan, no one will bother us for disagreeing with our gov, army, or parties.

I can understand if you don’t want to discuss the issues, but then why open threads on this topic?
