LOC violations - my humble analysis

Well ceasefire vilolations are common amongst countriess with a history but the fact that pakistan uses border firing to push infiltrators is not acceptable. I don't ever recollect the indian army doing the same. Yes both sides loose men and ammunition in the process. If the 2014 general elections are won by the bjp, for a fact they will take a much harder stance on this issue.

India is planning to use thermal imaging to keep border vilolation in place.and the claim of using robots is not true at all as it not viable to use robots in such conditions-hilly terrrain and extreme climate. It is more on the lines of using thermal laser intergrated machine guns only with range to shoot at infiltrators. But that is a long term plan as such delicate situations can't be left to an AI to decide.

Jinnah gave way to generals and fundamentalist islam. Thats where things went bad. Its a long story.

Jinha didn't lived long. There are some doubts over Jhina's death also. Some power Hungry eliments never allowed Pakistan to become a stable democracy. This is the first time that Pakistani Democratically elected government finished 5 year term. Pakistan army have last say in policy regarding India. But the Pakistan army fought 4 wars with India. On loss of every war, they become more and more obsessed with India. When ever Pakistan civil government tries to Improve relation with India, they create problem. When Nawaz sharif become prime minister recently and declared improving relation with India, Pakistan army immediately created problem on India border.

And previously during Vajpayeeji's time they replied with Kargil to our peace efforts. Moral of the story: If you want peace with Pakistan, then never try for it.

Recent unrest in LOC will stop if we stop all peace efforts, or at least keep it to a minimum level.

The country which was created on the basis of hatred toward another religion and incapability to sustain and coexist can not be expected to live harmoniously like US and Canada.

Just think why he needed a separate state at all if he could have lived along as we were living for centuries?

and yes killing an 11 year old and injuring womens is a great work by ur army... by the way this nakyal sector where they got injured and killed was three kilometer from border... infiltration my ***...GOOD GOING INDIANS...

India has no geopolitical advantage of keeping LOC hot. India being a status quo power derives no benefit from these daily shooting on Kashmir border, which highlight 'Kashmir' in newspapers.

Whereas Pakistan being a country, hoping to alter the status quo is the sole benefactor of 'keeping the issue' simmering..be that by cease fire violations or cross border infiltration or terror attacks in Kashmir.

Compare LOC to rest of Indian- Pakistan border where no shots are fired, as Pakistan does not hope to alter the border in these areas.

These cease fire violations and infiltration attempts have risen massively after Nawaz Sharif govt was sworn in Pakistan, just like how infiltration in Kashmir began during first Nawaz Sharif govt.

I think they plan to make Kashmir hot again. The low level of violence is sonething they do not like. Surprised that people who call them pro kashmir want to send terrorist there, and make local suffer as part of violence. This is manufacturing terrorism.

Well india is training and sending terrorists into Pakistan through the Balochistan border from Afghanistan where it has so-called consulates operating.
Now lets not get into any arguments here from indians that no we are not doing that.

I don't think ammo reserves of PAK would be seriously effected by India's provocation at LOC let alone effect their purchase of weapons as suggested by OP. Chanakyan motive behind such provocation may be due to the upcoming elections in India. Also Keeping PAK busy at the eastern front while they are trying to negotiate a settlement to end the terrorism & insurgency at home at the backdrop of US withdrawal from AF naturally makes sense to chanakyans.
