GUJRANWALA: (Staff Report) – As the hot and dry weather persists since the start of May, the condition ideally suits the use of room coolers. Room coolers are the essential appliances used widely in houses and offices.

The ongoing load shedding and exorbitant tariff of electricity had compelled the citizens to look for an alternative of split air conditioners.

Purchasing local made Lahori room coolers has become a distant dream for citizens due to their soaring prices. However, this year Punjab residents have got a solution. Locally made room coolers are on sale now at reasonable prices.
With efficient and effective engineering, these room coolers can run with 12 volts DC motorcycle battery and with the solar panel as well for hours.

These room coolers also provide a comfortable humidity inside houses by spraying a small amount of water into the air.

Shopkeepers claimed that this revolutionary product this summer to stay cool during severe power shedding.

half ton ac kaam hi karta bhi ajj kal tu magar yar ek bat hay kay pora ghar thanda kar dia hay is cooler nay or bill bhi siraf 2000rs extra or jitna chalta hay agar is ki jaga ac hota to kamaz kam bhi 10000 extra bill ata or room bhi ek ki thanda rehna tha

Half ton AC takes roughly about the same electricity as your fridge but you need to run them continously for 3 hours for your room to really cool down

Nothing groundbreaking here, with a simple inverter circuit you can convert 12V DC into AC and run Cooler for hours.

They are rare in pakistan, Not a lot of people have them, not including myself.My room is the basement and it significantly cooler down there and turns ice cold when i turn my A/C on.

Very few less than 0.5% not even houses in elite colonies have basements its just not how people like their house to be in Pakistan its just not part of our culture to have basements and i dont thing having basements in moonsoon regions is a good idea

I can attest to this. My basement is never very warm (maybe 64F) no matter how hot it is outside. That's why people keep refrigerators down there (I have 2 freezers + 1 regular refrigerator in my basement)

They work in punjab where its less humid ... Khi it doesnt .. Allah karay koi sciensedan koi new innivation laeey .. Life sucks .. No energy with high bills

Sheikh sahab ka totka add baraf in water cooler it works here in Islamabad even in August during monsoon it can work in karachi
But you will need a lot of ice and you have to replenish it again and again

moonsoon regions is a good idea

Nothing to do with that. It's far more damp in other parts of the world. Pakistan is dry most of the time. In wet climates (Pakistan certainly is not wet) they get something called Rising Damp and walls have to be treated with appropriate agents to stop it. There is an entire industry that deals with this problem.

But you will need a lot of ice and you have to replenish it again and again

Noted that .. Btw baraf will last long for tops 15-30 mins
