I think both US and Russia greatly under value their reserves. And are just waiting for the oil market which is currently ruled by the Middle Eastern Countries to subside before they pick up their own production.

We all have 1000's of years of reserve....it's how long discovery of reserves outstrips capacity that's economicaly important. (we are now to the point where oil sands are economicaly viable and reported as reserves) As far as 1000's of years....you have 100 brls hidden somewhere...reserves.
