Libya: A Year After Uprising Against Moammar Gadhafi, Power Held By Hundred

Still you didn't see the examples of images above.

Of course, Turkey is NATO killing all muslim countries which you enjoyed alot, right? Hopefully NATO will attack Turkey someday, maybe you will understand more in big pictures. You still didn't get it. ;)

They already do not allow them in EU, for a reason. Also these people do not understand the complex world. Kim might have been fat and ugly with diabetes but when the time came, he provided Pakistan with missile technology whenever Pakistan needed it. Turks can never get those missile technologies from North Korea and France is never going to give them either. That is why they do not have any ballistic missiles with a thousand kilometer range, the most important asset in a modern military. Kim was fat, true, but he did not go on to make a law to prove that Turks committed genocide in Armenia. That is the difference.

Lessons for Iranian leaders in their upcoming negotiations with west:

Qaddafi who traded off his nukes with lifting of sanctions:

And compare with it with the funeral of Kim Jong Il of North Korea who chose to be under sanctions and still have the nuclear weapons at his disposal:

i dont understand what you try to show by posting two pictures that has no relevance, if North was getting bombed day and night you would never see your lovely kim be burried like that.

Lol.

The whole point of this thread is Kim Jong made the difficult right decision to save whole million people and doesn't upset their loyals.

Compared to Gadaffi and sons, they are choosing different places and different decisions in wrong decisions many times.

Unbelievable emotional crying:

1 year later, Libya is a factionalized - divided mess!

the National Transition Council (NTC) has very little control over the consortium of rebel groups......in fact, fighting amongst them is going on even as i type this message --even in Tripoli and other areas with divided tribal/affiliations.

implementing true "democracy" without a strongman in power -- and as long as the arms remain in hands of citizens/vigilantes, i see a bleak future for the country....look at mistakes made in Afghanistan, it's no different.

of course the Libs are sitting on that sweet crude, which the industrialized West will surely love to siphon and suck dry

Syria is a whole other issue.......the West is basically providing moral support to Al-Qaeda types in Homs (i wont discredit the movement to topple Assad, simply because he's almost as big of an oppressor as his father was --and he was always close to the hindustanis anyways so we ought not to shed even one tear if he gets whacked).

I had a discussion with a new Libyan diplomat in Washington. The office/mission of the National Transition Council is at the Watergate building......he smiled and told me with glee and pride that Libya is sending 'mujahideen' to Syria to fight Assad's security forces.

some 'interesting' times we are seeing

Gaddafi turned his back on Pakistan, China, Russia, North Korea and got killed by a crazed mob, lets hope Iran won't make the same mistake.

In the name of revolution west captured a rich African Muslim Country. They did not want Libya to be liberated from Qaddafi, they wanted to capture the country resources, like they did in Iraq. I don't see any peace or a government in Libya in near future.

Arab Awakening ? this is pathetic more like Animals now they are killing each other.

yes, there is still a pro-Gaddafi resistance....very much so, actually.

Our leaders know what war and sacrifices mean. Ali Khamenei himself is a war veteran and victim of terror. Ahmadinejad is also a war veteran ,dedicating his youth and life to the principles of the revolution. Our nuclear negotiator, Dr.Jalili has lost a leg after fighting the Baathist forces on the front lines. Head of IRGC were one of those who encountered the enemy empty handed with knives and sticks against enemy Ak's and machine guns.
Whole Iranian leadership understands the true meaning of independence, pride, revolution

Ah, Iranians are extremely diplomatic. It will never happen. But Iran also has a large indigenous capability to produce weapons so they do not need as much help from outside so it gives them more maneuverability with regard to its friends. For example, Iran got most of its missile technology from North Korea in a time when no body would give Iran such technologies. But after intensive R&D, Iran has gone beyond North Korean capabilities, with solid fuel missiles and satellite launchers something North Koreans have failed to produce till now. So it is time as a token of friendship Iran return the favor to North Korea and provide these technologies to them.

yeah and we STILL have a stadium named after him

on the diplomatic front, I think Pakistan played its card very very well on the Libyan issue. The NTC seems (based on discussion i had with a few of their guys) very keen to work with Pakistan and other Muslim countries. We need to make inroads into that country; perhaps secure a few arms deals before the Russians and Yanks go in. As they are the new government in Libya (and we recognize them) we need to go on the offensive and help rebuild their armed forces.

could be good for business!
