LHC grants bail to Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, orders release

Same govt prison nawaz and zardari so this will not sell here try something else.
One is out and other is enjoying PIMS on your paid tax.

I agree with you 1000%.

Pakistanis have well passed the point of no return.

When you passed the point of now return, the Creator's Azab is guaranteed. It is not if, it is only a matter of when.
Probably we don't realise it is already upon us. We are just too stupid not to realise it.
Unfortunately and sadly when I see Pakistani politicians, Judiciary, Army, its establishments, I don't see anything improving at all. These people are so set in their evil ways, they would never want to change, because change for them means to earn honest living like millions of Pakistanis do. To live a life of modesty.

These criminals have their children abroad getting educated, living large, enjoying every imaginable comforts at the cost of populace of a very poor country.

May God destroy them all, Ameen.

Ameen

Th matter is between courts and NAB and NAB is beyond the jurisdiction of the federal government and PM. Government cannot do much in this regard.
Who can direct NAB than?

. .
Case in point: IHC bails for Nawaz, Maryam and Safdar on 43/44 pages.. SCP gave direction on that particular 'bail. However, NAB prosecutor did his bit ... remember google comments... Who did it?

LHC bails given to Hamza.... especially when on Saturday.. Hamza was hiding in the basement... remeber that TeeVee drama...

ArshadMalikVideoGames ... SCP special bail to Nawaz for 6 weeks for treatment... remember MarasiMedia hype back then... and he took no treatment but met ArshadMalik to disucss VideoGames...

Now recent bail from LHC to Maryam... FATF sword hanging about moneylaundering... goes against us... how many women given bail in Pakistan who happen to be women???? Even in petty crimes???

The Fact:
The PakState instituitions have been hollowed out ..with appointments of favourites/loyal stooges... so the ingress of CriminalEnterprise within the functions of state is deep.

We have now a choice.. Existential One...

Do we go from SoftState to ZeroState?

Or we take the functions of state back and start upward climb to become a Functioning State?

This Nizam is Feudal in nature and Paks are Conditioned...through centuries.. to show loyalties to their Feudal Overlords... be it MQM, PTI, PPP, NLeague, FUIF, JI etc...

It is too easy, intellecutaly lazy, to blame everything on Establishment and overlook the anthropological state of being...as a society ...

Education is systematically sabotaged so that the people don't become mentally free.

PPP Gov in Sindh recieved PKR7000+Bln over ten year period... why is Larkana a ruin?

We need to redesing the Nizam... from ground up. Easily said than done.

However, we have to make Our Existensial Choices sooner than later.. don't see flux everywhere around you?
System needs to be changed.

did public breed nawaz or zardari or fazlu?
did awaam sign nro?
did awaam protected sharjeel memon?
did awaam partnered with criminal mafias for few thousand acres of land?

Did awam voted for NRO leaders?
Did awam say no to musharraf?

This is off-topic but a question asked by a commenter on Facebook is still bothering me. It goes something like this;

The container which had the face of a woman (Maryum Nawaz) pasted on it while Molvi Fazl-Ur-Rehman was leading the prayer of the whole rally, was that prayer justified in the eyes of sharia?
As long as they were not praying to Maryum...

But same group of people would have died if they saw anyone praying in front of ANYONE's picture! Hypocrisy at its peak!

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday granted bail to PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case.

A two-member bench of the high court comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem announced the verdict. The legal representatives of Maryam and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were also present in the court.

The bench had reserved its verdict in the case on October 31 after both the petitioner and NAB had concluded their arguments.

The PML-N vice president had approached the high court on September 30 seeking post-arrest bail in the CSM case, in which she is suspected of money laundering.

ARTICLE CONTINUES AFTER AD
Following the sudden deterioration in the health of her father, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, she then filed a miscellaneous petition on October 24 seeking immediate bail on the basis of fundamental rights and humanitarian reasons. On October 29, the Islamabad High Court suspended the former premier's sentence in the Al Azizia case for eight weeks.

Before the court reserved its verdict on Maryam's bail plea, NAB's additional prosecutor general Jahanzaib Bharwana had opposed her request for bail on humanitarian grounds and said: "It has been established by Supreme Court's verdicts that a suspect can only be granted bail in extraordinary circumstances.

"Maryam Nawaz's case does not qualify as an extraordinary one."

The PML-N leader had been allowed to see her father once last month when she herself was admitted to the Services Hospital due to some health complaints. The development came after a request was sent by the party to the Punjab Home Department asking for special permission to be granted.

Maryam's arrest
Maryam and her cousin Yousuf Abbas were arrested by NAB on August 8 in the CSM case. Later, on September 25, they were sent to jail on judicial remand by an accountability court in Lahore.

The accountability watchdog suspects Maryam of involvement in money laundering through investments of variable heavy amounts being the main shareholder of the CSM. It has alleged that she was involved in money laundering with the help of some foreigners during the period of 1992-93, when Nawaz was the prime minister.

Maryam was convicted for abetment by an accountability court in the Avenfield corruption case and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Her sentence was later suspended by the Islamabad High Court as it was hearing a review appeal.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday granted bail to PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz who was arrested on August 8 in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case.

A two-member bench of the high court, comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmad Naeem, announced the verdict. The legal representatives of Maryam and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were present in the court.

The PML-N leader has been ordered to furnish two surety bonds, each worth Rs10 million, and deposit an additional Rs70million and surrender her passport to secure her release.

"Since the prosecution has shown the bank statement of the [...] petitioner in which on 28.11.2011 [...] Rs7 crores were withdrawn and the prosecution has apprehension of fleeing away of the petitioner, therefore, to satisfy our judicial conscience we would pass a conditional order," says the court's written order, granting Maryam bail under under Article 199 of the Constitution.

PML-N supporters gathered outside the court celebrated the bench's order while party president, Shehbaz Sharif, via a statement welcomed the decision.

He also appealed to supporters to not indulge in celebrations or distribute sweets and instead, pray for former premier Nawaz Sharif's health.

PPP Senator Sherry Rehman also welcomed the court's verdict, adding, "Hope that the PPP leadership, including President Zardari who is in custody for questioning, will also be released soon. Keeping political opponents in jail with no wrong proven is bad news."

This is why i am for gold and silver coins no digital money transfer or modern banking system.

no printed currency to be accepted from outside. This currency has no value so it cannot buy anyone. so no CIA dollar buy out.

just barter, gold and silver currency. it makes it so much harder for someone to steal it and take it outside or transfer.

.
Yes,that would become law itself.

I don't give any importance to lower courts. These courts think that responsibility of defining the law is not with them and ultimately their bad decisions will be overturned by the higher courts. So the judges in these courts sell themselves according to the priority and importance of cases. They know that their bad decisions will not have any impact because it will later be corrected.

Such judges, whose decisions are overturned every now and then, should be removed from their offices and in extreme cases, their practicing licenses should also be cancelled. In Pakistan, their is no accountability so they just don't care.

That's why there's a lot of burden on SC in Pakistan lately. An honest decision is so perfectly written that in many cases, lawyers normally tell the losing party that there's no chance of overturning if they go into appeal. In Pakistan, most of the decisions are challenged in SC. The reason is simple as I have written above, lawyers of the losing party know that the decisions are written with bad intentions and there is a huge chance of success in SC.
