You never know how many I met and asked them, even critically. You might have experienced very few from the lot of PTM but I do know them. Only PTM lot is up-to spread filth and involved in illegal activities but not every Afghani is like this.

And why would they not be offended if some 30-40 people daily ask him to Show his CNiC ? That too when the guys asking for it are civilians and NOT security forces...

IK went to torkham for inauguration of border opening for 24 hours and next day afghan government issued a statement that they dont recognize durand line as the border. it was a tight slap on the face of coward and clueless pak government

Absolutely ask for ID. A Pakistani Pashtun wouldn't be offended and instead cooperate for the greater good. Afghans are the number 1 enemy of Pakistan. Afghans dispute the Durand and openly claim Pak territory. That might not be a big deal to you, but it is to the vast majority.

What happens if a Pathan turns up in hospital in dire need of medical treatment - will he be refused because he has no ID?

A lot of pashtuns living in Punjab don't have id and no one asks them for Id cards but in big cities like Lahore police sometimes checks cards

Every person has to carry an ID at all times. That is the law. Your frustration doesn't add up.

Just answer one simple question. Are you willing to give the Afghans the land they claim in Pakistan?

Not every Pashtun but every Pakistani and every person who is here in Pakistan is bound to show/prove his/her identity.

Like I said, this is not about hate or love. It is not about good or bad Afghans.

This conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is about land. The only reason why ALL Afghans living inside and outside of Pakistan display their disgust for Pakistan is due to dispute of land. You know this and everyone knows this.

I never met an Afghan who hated Pakistan openly , most were grateful hard-working people thankful for safety in Islamic Country

The border acts are done by Mercenaries and Few handful of bad apples

As I said earlier the only future Afghanistan has is with integration with Pakistan as a new Province
