one person who learnt his lessons from the china in india is Narender Modi, and these are the lessons that need to be learnt all over.
he learnt the speed with which the projects need to be cleared, and implemented, and see what he did when he got $250billion as investments for his state with in a span of 2 days at vibrant gujarat. when he was on a trip to china in 2007, he was able to earn a lot of admirers for the clarity of his thoughts on attracting investments in his state.
in his state with in 3 months the file gets cleared, a file that revolves no more than 3 departments, that is the extent he has been able to thrash out the red tape and with in a span of 13 months from the date of submission of the report for the first time the project is up and running. take the very success and laurels he earned for the nano project, they went to ratan tata, told him they had land, showed his team the land and with in days the construction at the site started, and that is the learning we all need to have.
but speed in no way means that one forgets the basic fundamentals!
