Yes, we too have institutions run by Christian and Hindu groups but they follow proper central level or state level education boards.

It should be mandatory for every child at age 3 to be entered in an Islamic madarrasah and taught Arabic .......

Countries where kids learn Arabic are at the bottom of everything.

Early learning is most critical part of the childhood for a child, what is learned then , impacts him/her for the rest of the life.


Rather than some religious book, i rather prefer a child is taught how to play with an abacus, it helps children visualize Maths. I find many Indian kids with a phobia for Math.

Yes, I too had phobia for maths and it took me long to overcome that.

Rote-learning for maths never works.

the child will never experiment with Math that way, thereby limiting his Mathematical abilities.

My friend's father hired a private tutor to teach him Arabic and Urdu but not in early childhood.

I know Arabic and I was taught it because I was in the UAE. I still resent having to learn it for absolutely no reason. The point being, there is not reason to teach a child Arabic at a young age. You have all the time in the world when you grow older. And for those who say that it helps understand the Quran, no it does not. A person doesn't dare apply his learning to try and translate a passage of the Quran, fearing he may be wrong.
