Gunmen kill People’s Aman Committee leader Zafar Baloch in Karachi ​

KARACHI: Unknown gunmen killed leader of proscribed Lyari Amn Committee Zafar Baloch and injured another on Wednesday.



According to Geo News, eight gunmen on four motorcycles sprayed Zafar Baloch’s vehicle with bullets at Lyari’s Bizenjo Chowk and managed to flee.



The injured was identified as Muhammad Ali, who was travelling with the deceased.



Tension gripped Lyari and adjacent areas following the killing of Zafar Baloch.



The assassination comes amid Rangers and police targeted operation in Karachi weeks after the government decided to purge the metropolis of criminals.

He was shot on his arms too.There were eight attackers according to latest report,firings are heard in Lyari.
I am speechless right now,RIP to Mr.Baloch @Secur and others,if you all are outside,then kindly go back to your home as soon as you can,I am sensing a 'vigorous reaction' by 'protestors'
