It is the same like when cult religious followers get enlightened about their 'peer'.. and they become agnostic, atheist, upset etc.. the entire edifice of respect and belief come down on its footprint.

That's your fear.. 71 was 100 times much worst. Yet in a few years people understood reality that Bangladesh had to go and bhuttos dictatorship and economic policies turned the sentiment in army's favor.

it won't.. every incident is now captured and available... it will keep refreshing public minds. That is why 71 videos are prohibited to broadcast in TV. We cannot revert back to 'gentleman' game. Politicians are accusing/blaming each other, including army. As people are used to these hurls, profanity, it will at best stay the same or get worse.

This is sad to see people not even caring about the brave soldiers who laid down their lives of us.When you won't care about public sentiments and steal their mandate.
This is how they gonna behave


This just shows the level is of anger inside hearts of public.
Whoever thought that anger will be down after few weeks of regime change should look at this 4 months have passed and level of anger is increasing everyday.

Bajwa and top military leadership have no idea how much they have widened the gap between public and Armed forces.

Maybe this post was just to check the public pulse otherwise we had Martyrs on almost everyday of life
Why post about today's only?

Now, people have lived the 71 like situation. This first hand experience is difficult to be wiped off, especially in the information age+ 5th Gen war. For every positive post/act, there would be 10s of -ve posts. Army must adapt to this new reality and start teaching its officers that public view them in the same league as politicians.

Public can vote out a politician but not an army.. again you are falling online trolls.
What happens online doesn't necessarily reflect state of mind of majority.. at the end of day a sense of security prevails over political biases.

Bangladesh should have been a separate country since day 1. That would have amounted to much better relations. They refused the idea of confedration in 1962.no agreement on constitution and demand for bengali to be national language was conflicting and it took the course to point of no return.

Bangladesh was not just another part of pakistan. It was 1000s of miles away surrounded by enemy from 3 sides and with great cultural linguistic barriers .most of their trade was with bengalies in Calcutta not with Western pakistan and their leadership was already in talks with india in case a cessation was needed.

have you educated masses enough? People hate symbolism, supporters, and fail to see the man. Tell me! haven't policemen sacrificed their lives for Pak? Still when you see them on check post, you pray 'Allah bacha la in sa, pasay na mang lain' ... Why? bcz their image is tarnished and nobody tried to educate public to think otherwise.

Perhaps, you don't know jamia hafsa people were happy when they heard army has arrived. They thought people of 'Iman , Taqwa, Jihad' have arrived and they wd get rid them off the police. That was the status army enjoyed.

The propaganda needs to be dispelled else one day people would fight among themselves and start.leading their own little nations Kurdistan style..that's exactly why the children of the country need to be brought under a single curriculum and made Pakistani first before other leanings. Once that happens you wouldn't need army as a uniting force or an enemy to forget their differences temporarily

It is in the air, we breathe it everyday. There should be as many counters too to dispel it.

All is better. The army will be under social pressure now. It is good. Now, the US cannot arm twist GHQ as it will say we have to convince the people. It is better, no one should remain holy/infallible (courts, politicians, army). Pre bhutto, President were respected. People thought of them like Viceroy. The situation is worse now.

Anyway, this social pressure will keep us safe as too much power can corrupt. Only consciousness prevents from wrong but if you add social/physical pressure, it creates balance. Everyone will be under scrutiny. There will be narratives and counter narratives. The game is beyond songs and few serials. We must all adapt to new reality that everyone can ask/publish question now. We have to inform youth and realise them of our mistakes than misleading them with fake stories or hiding incidents.
