Lasik In Pakistan

Is it safe to have Lasik done in Pakistan??
I mean even in US there could be complications but are there good doctors here??

I've found a place in Lahore. It saves $1000 to have it done here and that is the highest priced option. Other options cost around $255 and $400

I would not recommend you to undergo the procedure. Why would you want to put your healthy eyes under the blade?. My cousin got it done from a top professional, developed floaters after 3 weeks. The cons outweigh the pros.

It's not just Pakistan. There are many cases with patients losing their eyesight completely or with worse side effects (flashes, floating stars, etc.) even in the most advanced countries.

Eye surgery, especially with a laser is always a very risky thing. laser is unforgiving, a minor estimation/calculation error and you are done forever. There is no Undo.

For people who are at the end of their eyesight or are close to blindness already, can take the risk as they don't actually lose anything if it doesn't go well, but taking the risk just to get rid of glasses? I'll never do that even if it was free and performed by the best doctor in the world.

In US doctors are switching to total software assisted laser procedure to reduce blade or doctor error.

Good friend of mine here in the states got it done and it practically gave his eyes new life.

That being said, even in the best medical facilities, there is always a risk with this kind of procedure.

So far so good. No complaints. Trying to stay away from cell phone/electronics is both hard but very relaxing.

Why the hell would you cheap out on your own body? It's the only thing you actually have in this world??

Buy cheaper cars, or cheaper clothes but give your body the best you can afford.
