Technology has gone far ahead live devices have mechanism to turn into explosive devices. You would be shocked on local American airlines that in with-in country trips people can even take knives and other stuff that are usually confiscated and it has been officially allowed you can google it.

Umm, not really. Dont know what gave you that impression.
Its just as difficult for an American to go through customs and security in Pakistan as it is for a Pakistani in the US.
