Language of hate

[Indus Pakistan]

I am often sniffed at for using harsh language with referance to Ganga Indian's. More than once Mods here have pointed fingers at me. I am often told that such language is not befitting od a TTC. Of course I have pointed out I would rather lose my status then change my stance.

The fact is and I can say this confidently - the language that Indian's use for Pakistani's or Pakistani extraction is far more vulgar, profane, demeaning then anything that Pakistani's throw back. The amount of filthy language that pours out of Indian's at every level of discourse is shocking. In fact on this score the Indian's wind hands down. I am by nature a very polite but over time have adjusted my language for Indian's.

Times of India appears to be a respectable flagship newspaper of India. Below is the language being used on a article in referance to Gen. Bajwa. P**orki, P**igs, Rape seem to be the default synonym for Pakistan. This applies across the board even on Western forums there is the same brazen use of language.

Compare this to any Pakistani newspapers and see what language is accepted - Try that on Dawn for example. Even saying 'Injun' would get moderator censor.

Ab ki bar bajwa ki baari...ab bajwa ki bajegi...haha

But any Pakistani forum if you go to far you will either be banned or sanctioned or other Pakistanis will tell you to stop

The indians are a beghairat kaum and their mainstream papers are a window into their unfettered hatred for MUSLIMS @Razia Sultana not just Pakistanis

I have said this before, Indian's are a delusional people who have notions of self grandeur they view their history, loses through these delusions

1000 years of Muslim rule has damaged them psychologically because it rips apart their delusions of themselves
They are psychologically damaged by
Partition and breaking up of their Akhand Bharat into Pakistan
By millions of people denouncing hinduism and becoming muslim's
By centuries of defeat

They are dangerous for ALL muslims whether arab, Turk, Persian or African snd will as a default support any enemy of a muslim even if its on the other side of the world

We in Pakistan hate them anyway so it dosent matter for us
But indian muslims and arabs, Iranians etc who think they can make friends with indians are in for a suprise

Well that is good enough explaination but I wonder why TOI allows such content. don't think such vitriol would pass muster with Dawn etc.

It's same with Indian defence forums - they are shockingly full of pure hate and foul language. Further it is across the board, from Mods to Admins. There seems to be a given that is acceptable and right thing to do. While on Pak forums there is lot of that but collectively there is no such support for language of that type. In short it appears that the distilled hate in India far exceeds what you see on the Pakistan side.

I guess it might be like you said fringe of the fringe of 1.25 billion.

Yet its the norm there. The words they use not only for pakistan but Chinese as well. The things they say makes me wonder

Is there no sense of better? Is there no sense of being morally superior? How can you say things like that get claim the legacy of the area and take pride in its history. How can you say such vulgar words and take pride in gandhi? Jinnah and Gandhi and Nehru disagreed but they never said anything like this or even insulted each other with strong words. Why can't we be liked that? Discussing in articulation and with sense.

But the thing that gets me is that if this was only on TOI I would say one of but its on their forums, its on Facebook, its on twitter. The abuse is never ending. A constant stream that is clashing with the wall of thought that this does not represent the majority.

The wall weakens with each clash.

I believe that social media has allowed us to peer into the darkness of many people. What we see here are their true personalities. They hide that face when they move in the real world yet behind a screen. Hidden behind an alias they reveal their hearts. Maybe I am growing cynical but this constant abuse from all four corners is not right.


This is why I personally report even the slightest hint of abuse bcz I personally believe that this place is the last place where Pakistanis and Indians can talk to each other about sensitive issues and give it some semblance of a discussion. This is why I am very touchy when somebody tries to be abusive. Keep this place clean. It's the last point where we can interact with each other on tough issues.
