Lal Masjid’s expansionism, militant links alarms agencies

.
yep, same guy - that is why i am wondering that why would they publish this report and mention those names as establishment is on good terms with RM

Perhaps establishment patience ran out this time due to Malik riaz playing on both sides of wicket

Taji Khokar eik number ka Kanjar hain.

I one hundred percent agree with you and it continues to bother me, why on earth these dogs are allowed to live and brainwash people. The only answer that comes to my mind, is that this scum is still considered 'asset' by some though not all of the civil and military bureaucrats. I mean how difficult it is to launch a nationwide awareness campaign in order to psychologically prepare masses for a multi directional assault on religious extremisms? We know that this cant be done solely by military operations but do we see a serious and coherent effort in this direction? Without having masses on board, we are not going to get rid of religious extremism plain and simple. By making Fazal-the-hypocrite sitting on the left and Zardari-the-corrupt on his right hand side, what kind of message this moron Nawaz Shareef is giving? Yes, General Raheel appears to be very clear and comitted but if he is thinking of winning this war with the present political scum, he is dead wrong. We are practically at war and what these politicians are doing? Has the time not come to declare emergency under the article 245? Can we really afford the luxury of 'fundamental human rights' in these times and circumstances? So far it was politicians but if the situation deteriorates further, the blame would go to the COAS.

My guess is as good as yours, either there are some elements in the civil and military leadership which still have the Cold war mentality and believe in Jihadi assets or well the state doesn't have spine to tackle this deep-routed menace because of its integration in the society and to a certain extent, the backing of influential people for these militant/terrorists groups. I have strong reasons to believe the latter. Nothing ever is difficult, its just the will-power that is required and so far the Government of Pakistan - both seen and unseen incumbents - haven't shown the slightest of it. The most popphanging people who got the death sentence ages ago doesn't classify as any victory, just something that was long due and points to criminal negligence. The military courts also dont seem to me as something incredibly useful, because of all the reservations and the civil scrutiny before actually referring the cases to the military courts. There is nothing on the ground to suggest any dedication/newfound resolve of any Govt machinery to uproot radicalization and extremism in the society, which is the main disease, for so far we have been treating the symptoms. We are in a state of war and not even the people of Pakistan seem to realize that, too many el bastardos pondering over what Musharraf did or how this isn't our war. I dont believe that the significant masses are still on board, with what is being done to counter it, the city folks dont count here. To be honest, I am not too hopeful regarding this country's future.

i really wish that this burqa warrior also get a bullet in the head when lal masjid operation was on-going , kam se kam is ki manhoos sakaal tu nai dekhni pardti

Even after constant intel warnings our law enforcement agencies are sitting like duck doing nothing. This show incompetence of Pakistan law enforcement.

I have read somewhere that these kind of mullah mafias have taken many orphan kids after 2005 earth quake. Brainwashed them as per their desire and now using them. Read the entire history of this and other like him, you will find absolute negligence of all our departments (civil & military).

There's a non bailable arrest warrant against this man issued 10 days ago by the Court. Why has he not been put behind bars as yet? Is the Pakistani state, that doesn't hesitate to flex its nuclear muscles against its adversaries, so weak that it cannot proceed against a bearded bozo? What's holding up the proceedings? Are the security forces so weak- kneed that they are scared to take action because of the resultant bloodshed?

If that be the case then why create such an issue out of it?

The moral of the story - Live and let live!

The future of Pakistan is bleak. Either the Govt takes care of it or we dont have to bitch everyday about these matters, which personally make my blood boil. If the nation cant even open its eyes after all that has happened and remain ignorant about the true culprits of this barbarism, then it doesn't deserve to exist any longer. Just being a country isn't enough, for God's sake learn to act like one. These irrational and single digit IQ people (look at the pathetic arguments and evasive maneuvers) are a direct threat to our way of life and freedom. Not exactly sure why the military allows these SOBs to continue, the present army chief always seemed to me like the sort of person who doesn't believe the BS of good and bad terrorists.

Well said, except for one thing I disagree with: these are not "single digit IQ people". They are cunning and crafty people who are a clever enemy, and one that seems to have the edge. I would not dismiss their intelligence so easily, Sir.

The edge isn't due to their intelligence, I have interacted a lot with this kind, these are people who have outsourced their critical thinking power to the Mullah, its arguments (half baked/twisted/evasive) or methods aren't indicative of any intellectual thought or high IQ for that matter, at least the foot soldiers or the common people hooked up on opiate. They aren't convincing for any person with an iota of brain, the only reason that its ahead is because it relies on fear of the unknown logic, religion. The leadership might be a different game altogether.

And yet, their narrative seems to be winning. That alone says a lot, Sir.

Lal masjid and molvi burqa is root of terrorism in Pakistan...he should be hanged for spreading mischief

Again, the narrative isn't winning due to any superior intelligence but rather the naivety of people. I do not underestimate them not for a second, they are a many-headed serpent sure, but they aren't intelligent. These are essentially single digit IQs, a person with critical thinking faculties intact will not be threatened by them, he wont feel insecure about his beliefs. Au contraire. Please, dont give the credit where it isn't due.
