Lal Masjid warns government against release of Aasia Bibi

. .
so the cat is out of the bag !
......
One of the three-judge bench, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman, told the court he had to recuse himself, claiming a conflict of interest.

"I was a part of the bench that was hearing the case of Salman Taseer, and this case is related to that," he told the court. .....

Apologies to the good judge if I get this wrong because I'm no lawyer, but that sounds as lame as my telling the teacher the dog ate my homework back when I was in class four.

You are right that Lal Masjid has nothing to do with it. I agree with you 100% that law should takes its normal course and in all court cases, the party that has lost will not be happy with the result.

I have only mentioned Lal Masjid because this thread is discussing a warning from Lal Masjid of dire consequences if the judgement goes against what Mullah Abdul Aziz desires. This clearly indicates that a very bigoted Mullah of a mosque notorious for its close connections with the terrorists, is threatening Supreme Court of Pakistan with the PML-N gov’t machinery refusing to take any action.

Many Sunnis have accepted the Qadri judgement. Those who didn’t show their unwillingness to abide by the Laws of Pakistan. Unless you dispense with the current Supreme court and create a new one altogether, decisions of the highest Court of Pakistan must be respected and accepted whether you like it or not
These Lal Masjid Mullahs are deobandis who always consider 80% of population (Brelvis) as Mushriks and Kafirs. They have nothing to do with this issue. They are just doing politics. Brelvis cannot fire a single bullet with planning. They are non violent till now. Confusion Lal Masjid with Brelvis and declaring the movement of molvis as a terrorists movement is not a good thing. Qadyanis always use the word of "mullahs" to abuse the basic beliefs of Islam and the constitution of Pakistan.

Believe me, Brelvis can do whatever they can. They are Pakistan. They were the ones who fought against terrorism on religious fronts. The laws are made for populations, populations are not made for laws. Mumtaz Qadri was hanged, no one is happy on this decision but not a single Brelvi can do a suicide blast in retaliation. Never. It is just a basic demand that if some committed blasphemy then he/she should be punished with a procedure. Nothing else. I am getting tweets from Christians from Europe, Americas etc that this is "freedom of speech" and it should be allowed. astaghfirullah!!! how can we allow anyone to disrespect our Holy Prophet صل اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم Everyone is acting like a judge on twitter, facebook, PDF etc. Don't you consider it extremism? Does anyone have right to make a separate supreme court?

@Ghazwa e Hind How did you understand what you wrote? Because I certainly did not. Any chance of a abstract please?

@T-123456 I am sure you have heard of the saying "strike while the iron is hot". Well the boat sailed long time ago. Kemal Ataturk did it when the iron was pliable. He hammered the nutters into shape. You have no idea how lucky you are in Turkey. The hell you would have faced minus Ataturk is readily visible here. Read post #79 above.

Here you have guy who has a handle that is alluding to conquest of Pakistan but thinks it means conquest of India but can't get past religious sectarian/squabble bull but thinks that is cool.

*scream*

Do you live in Turkiye?

Your honest opinion,is there any hope left?
Yes, there is. Time. You know time can wear down even the highest mountains. These religious zealots will be taken care of by tide of time. The problem is, it will take at least two decades before real change begins.

So I am optimistic but frustrated that it can't happen today because I know Pakistan minus the religious bigotry would be hell of great country. Great people, mind bending natural wonders and a history that records birth of civilization on the Indus River contemperory to Mesoptamia.

*Part of the problem is between 1950-1990 during the Cold War era religious groups were nourished as counter weight to communists/socialists. Now the socialists have been almost wiped out but have the religious zealots going rampant.

From some reading on this Lal Masjid topic, it seems to me Pakistan would be much much better off closing the Lal Masjid or at least remove and replace the nutjobs running the show there. Who do they think they are to interfere in state and law matters and, to top it off, threaten the govt??

.
I heard Ataturk put some Imams on a boat, once it was out to sea, he fired a torpedo at it.

The law has been abused enough.
Still Islam and Imams are alive in Turkey and even current Govt is pro Islamic meanwhile sorry to say Ataturk is dead along with his ideology. Without religion you are just like body without soul.

We like it or not Lal Mosque is there but Musharaf is no more. We should not join politics with every thing. If the tone of Lal Mosque people is bitter it is due to past instances. I can bet on that many Barelvis also say prayers in Debandi/Wahabi Mosques.

The blasphemy laws are not made by fools these laws are their to protect interests of all Pakistanis. If we don't want act like Qadri did then we should have provisions in an Islamic society to protect our beliefs and Holy personalities.

If Muslims are abstained from abusing other religions then same rule applies for others. The previous blunders done by Musharaf to make country enlighten are costing dearly to us i.e killing of Bugti and Lal Masjid massacre. Where were the champions of humanity at that time.

No sect of Islam teaches brutality but it comes when you only on basis of practicing Islam gave bad names to people. As for modern people like above Kaptaan he should be happy that change is coming soon as vulgarity is spreading in entire country through media and Nawaz Shareef has joined hands with these foreign agents. Even IK and religious parties are also silent.
If Assia Bibi has done blasphemy due to her low mental level than she should be given sentence lesser than death and should be educated about sensitive matters in Jail but may not be pardoned on the basis of Western pressure or Pope.

On other hand if some Muslim does blasphemy about any Prophet he/ she should be treated in same way.

The same thing may prove to be fatal for Pak Muslims if the have forgotten history of Spain.

Qadyanis always use the word of "mullahs" to abuse the basic beliefs of Islam and the constitution of Pakistan.

Not a single "Qadiani" has yet posted on this thread, and I read every single post in this thread.

Stop trying to brush up serious problems of religious extremists under our banner, no extremist qadiani is holding the whole state of Pakistan hostage, nor are Qadianis threatening to unleash a flurry of suicide bombers if their leader is arrested.

Wake up and see who your enemies are, before blindly shooting from the hip. No "Qadiani" would ever dare raise their voice against the Pakistani state.
