Bullshit Did you read the Article you posted above and date?

dated: Oct 21, 2011

"The overall improvement in the index was largely attributed to the 28.5 per cent increase in education index across the country. It ranges from 0.92 for Kerala to 0.41 in in the case of Bihar."

"The analysis also indicates that i improvement in the health index, as compared to education, has been lower. It ranges from 0.82 in Kerala to 0.41 in Assam."

Its Telling specific HDI of education and health not over all. as article is also from 2011 so Kerala over all HDI is 0.792. Well 21% is over all increase in HDI of india.

If you still didnt get the point then better STFU.

stop comparing HDI on this thread. We want to know about your success in waste disposal system and you might need to know something we did well (say delhi metro?)
Its not only technology, its about sharing experience too.

A developed country might you teach you better how to eradicate polio, but India can share more relevant experience due to similar system and challenges.

Also visiting other country free of cost and do some sightseeing...priceless.. not the main objective though.. :P

Lolx

Compare Your states minimum HDI with Pakistan and highest one also Islamabad HDI Over all is Islamabad 0.802. What ever You guys can just talk , talk and just talk.

Well in india its more than 70%.

Poverty headcount ratio at $2 a day (PPP) (% of population) | Data | Table

"About 49 percent of the world's underweight children, 34 percent of the world's stunted children and 46 percent of the world's wasted children, live in India."

'India has highest number of underweight children' - Indian Express

Poverty in India is widespread, with the nation estimated to have a third of the world's poor. In 2010, the World Bank reported that 32.7% of the total Indian people fall below the international poverty line of US$ 1.25 per day (PPP) while 68.7% live on less than US$ 2 per day.[1]

Islamabad is a city with population of 1 million, not a state with population of 33 million.
No state in Pakistan can acheive what we have acheived here At south

'Kerala, a state in India, is a bizarre anomaly among developing nations, a place that offers real hope for the future of the Third World. Though not much larger than Maryland, Kerala has a population as big as California's and a per capita annual income of less than $300. But its infant mortality rate is very low, its literacy rate among the highest on Earth, and its birthrate below America's and falling faster. Kerala's residents live nearly as long as Americans or Europeans. Though mostly a land of paddy-covered plains, statistically Kerala stands out as the Mount Everest of social development; there's truly no place like it.'

Bill McKibben,Environmentalist.

And in case of HDI , Pakistan is considered as a country with Low Human Development Index but India is considered as country with Medium Human Development Index
