I believe what you are calling Salafism is really, directly or indirectly, Deobandi thought from South Asia but funded by the Saudis.

Do read up why and what Islamic Madhabs are (like Maliki, Hanifi, Hannabli etc). Islamic Madhabs aren't exactly "sects" like Protestanism or Catholicism (which is basically different religions with different theology, doctrines, AND even different number of books in their bibles).

Islamic Madhabs are like 99.99% the same thing with no major doctrinal difference and exactly same holy Book (Qur'an) for all. Google what are madhabs and why they developed differently etc. You'd be enlightened and wont post such trite bs again

Salafism isn't subcontinental. It originated from KSA (a school of thought that became popularized from Medina University). Similarities to Deobandis notwithstanding

I have completed your religion for you?. Why was there no hambali's, maliki's, Shafi's etc at the time of the prophet pbuh. All the fitna started from Karbala. Now even prophet muhammed pbuh said there will be 73 sects and all but 1 will be in the fire. So why would you be a sectarian. I know you are so good luck with the odds.
If everyone of 99.9% as you say are on the wrong path should I follow? Using your argument of follow the majority then why even bother to be a Muslim just be anything else.
Your argument is simply flawed. If prophet muhammed didn't do it then why are you? Did he do the things Muslims are doing today?. Arguing over nothing is an example. Following like a sheep. Thats why the quran says. This is a religion for men of understanding. It doesn't say just follow blindly. It also say 'do not follow the religion of your forefathers'. This mean they may have mistakes in their religion..I.e.sects.
For me start and end is islam. I have no madhab and identify myself as Muslim only. You do what you like. We all go to our own grave so no need to waste time and argue.
You talk of same holy book yet sunni says shia is kaffir and shia says sunni is kaffir. Looool. As I said you argument has more holes than Swiss cheese.
