@hellfire once said that the capitals will not be taken down bcz in event of a war or ceasefire the capital structure and administration is required for it and thus capitals will be conquered but not nuked. Hellfire I am gonna take a wild guess and say Karachi, Faisalabad, lahore and Rawalpindi are goners. For India Mumbai, Calcutta, provincial capitals nearby and industrial based cities.

Sialkot, Faislabad, etc and here Ambala, Bahadurgarh etc.

Oh yes I very well remember and the equipment as well. Been looking for that heavy inch helmet. Funnily my housing is in lahore and sheikhupura ( a city 100km away from Faisalabad and 40 km away from lahore) and borders India. Lolzz...

Anyways we have different perspectives and different interests when it comes to studying history .......... I have no interest in subcontinent's history except for admiring an historical site that I may visit.

The subcontinent never invaded and conquered another people. If you leave out the mixed race mongoloids of the south east.

I believe the subcontinent came into its own militarily after the British, and fighting the two world wars under the British flag.

Before that, we do not have much of a reputation, no?

The conventional capabilities of India far outshines that of Pakistan.

But resistance will continue for a month.

PRC changes the equation entirely though.

Two weeks? You are under estimating Indian forces. I do not see them talking more than a couple of hours to reach Afghan border after invading from Lahore. I dont think PRC will be a problem at all. In fact, if you are willing to extend the operational timeline to two weeks as you said, might as well capture Beijing in that time.

For Indian Special Forces, it wont be a problem.
