Laden would have escaped if US had sought Pak's permission before raid

Dude a military operation can always happen in hush hush. It was planned in Afghanistan. Its possible, nobody in Pakistan knew. But some Pakistani members are suggesting the operation never happened. If that's the case, someone in Pakistani army, ISI, intelligence, govt, opposition would have given credence to this theory. Everybody accepted it and enough circumstantial evidence was recovered including a helicopter outside the house and entire bin laden family. I personally believe, the whereabouts were pin pounted by other leads which were obtained with ISI help. However, Obama could not have taken any risk so Americans went ahead unilaterally. They have always, said, they reserve the right to persue OBL anywhere in the world.
The biggest issue here is not about what level have extremists penetrate the Pakistani military or government...where this blame is being put excessively.
But whether an issue as big as the OBL could have remained a secret and agreeable to all in the current government setup as it is.

Would it be hush hush even if just Pres Zardari was asked? After all, he is as cunning as a fox with a degree in cunning from oxford.Would he not let his main players know of it? would they not let others know of it?

There was simply no way of conducting this raid in a hush without leaking some info(geo would probably have a strip on it before it even happened).
Moreover, even if the top leadership agreed to it in secrecy..
there would always be somebody who would tell somebody that something was up , who would in turn would tell it to somebody that something was happening and that somebody may know somebody who would have secret links to somebody(s) that were in touch with the well wishers of OBL.

And you are ok with that? would you not like some action, some accountability?
After all, a conspiracy only succeeds if those that are being conspired against work in its favor.

^ Too many somebody buddy....:D
But got your point.

That was the idea with that post..
To demonstrate that news like that does not stay static.. and may not stay within the boundaries of secure knowledge.
After all, people talked when the nukes were about to be tested..
what stops them to talk about an oncoming high profile raid?

There are people who still insist that the earth is only 10000 years old..
How much time will you spend listening to them?

Didn't your Prime Minister say "kisney Osama bin Laden ko VISA diya tha?" referring to your intelligence agency failure?

Actually, it reflects the failure of such a prime minister (if he ever said so)

.
So is your military? Your generals, ISI everything?
If that's the case what makes you think OBL Operation didn't happen, was false etc etc?
Is it possible to pay dollars to your government and de neuclearise Pakistan?
Is it possible to pay dollars to your govt and make them give up Kashmir issue?
Its about the acceptance level in the population.

Its been a bad luck that Pakistan didnt get any good general or president if they have any they will hanged or assassinate

So the peoples are neglected for making policies

You're right. I hate myself for wasting my time countering conspiracy theorists.

Madam, the foreign and defence policy in your country is not framed by the Prime Minister and his goverment. These policies are driven by the military leadership. And the time when OBL entered Pakistan and took refuge, Pakistan was being ruled by a military hukoomat. What can the poor Prime Minister do. He is one of the longest serving Prime Minister Pakistan has ever seen.
Actually, it reflects the failure of such a prime minister (if he ever said so)
