It is true. The Saudi economy is not exactly booming. Do not go by the stories of the Princes. Plus the Saudiazation of businesses ie compulsory hiring of Saudis as a percentage has hit many organisations very hard there. So one way out is to cut costs at the very lowest levels.

We all know very well, which economy is booming and which is not.

Actually, i advice the people not to go about by usual Indian stories.

And why are we discussing Saudization here?

Pakistani flesh will remain cheap,untill we are electing morons instead of real leaders. Pakistan will remain a labor camp,untill we have a real democracy,a real govt which drafts Pakistan centeric policies instead of giving lip service to other nations.If we are to free ourselves,we have to change ourselves.

Labor is getting cheap every where, Chinese are the cheapest... but a dollar earned abroad means much more to a state and this is the value which we fail to see.

Arabs have now labor of their own... now we can say good by to the glorious history, when our fore fathers use to sent money home form Gulf.

We failed to capitalized on the forex sent home by hard workers, since decades and now being insulted by haters... as some lowly Labor. I have personally seen foreign Engineers and Doctors and professionals in gulf too.

There is no harm in kicking out illegals. It is good actually.

Now, if legals are being shown the door, it is a matter of concern for the countries they belong to.

Do we have the setup to incorporate them?

No matter one says, South asia as a whole has to sit down and at least agree on a No- war pact.

All countries in this region are rich in resources, so they must get rid of this accursed corrupt system.

As far as Pakistan is concerned. I have always said, this country only has to tax the rich and build a couple of coastal cities and it will be off.

^^ Tax is not meant to be paid by few rich, it is conceptualize to be work only if it is paid by poor masses.

I heard now Pakistanis are paying Iran pipe line tax, in their gass and electricity bills, since last six months.

Now imagine taxes in Pakistan are made by IMF and tax collected in the name of gas pipe line is going to Iran govt.

What an irony.
