Kuwait issues its own Trump-esque visa ban for five Muslim-majority countries

This ban has been effective for almost a decade now. There has been issues in the past, when afghans used Pakistanis routes to reach Kuwait and smuggle drugs and other illegal activities resulting in beheading too, not all afghans but many.

I don't have any idea what thread was opened in the morning. But I checked the link after your post saying that the news was six year old. The link says it is from Feb 2017. However, I could not find the news else where. So there is a possibility that the news could be fake.

never knew what their problem with us is when we have been so nice to them and were standing with them in 1991.
this isn't the first time they have banned us from entering Kuwait they did it 2011 and then extended the ban in 2013 only to end it recently.

9 hours back there was some update on internet on valid news links and every one is quoting that. whether the article was published 4 years back or whatever that's not our problem.

Oddly enough, Iran still doesn't ban KSA citzens from visting Iran as they get visa upon arrival (despite the very limited number of visitors who are at least %98 Shia). This is despite KSA ban on all types of visas for Iranians except Hajj and Umrah visas. I think this tolerance is somhow a recruitment tool by the Iranian government for our small Shia minority.
