Pakistanis are one of the most respected nationalities in KSA, there are a lot of intermarriages between the two people and a lot of public places named after Pakistani heroes. The Kuwaiti government banned some of the most hardworking nationalities in the region lol. Very foolish decision, if you ask me.

I envy the countries that decided to take in some of the Syrian refugees.

The Syrian people are incredibly hardworking and intelligent.

Apple's founder and CEO, Steve Jobs, was originally from Syria, and he was just one example out of many.

Kuwait needs more people with brains and less Salafis/takfiris. It's incredibly stupid to ban nationalities that have never caused us any real trouble or concern.

I'm more concerned by some of the GCC states that export terrorist ideologies than South Asian and Levantine migrants/expats.

South Asians are, for the most part, very pacifistic and friendly. Some of them have unfortunately been involved in drug-related and rape-related crimes, but the vast majority of them are hardworking and law-abiding people, not to mention incredibly smart.

I wish Kuwait turns into another Singapore, and this cannot happen if we continue isolating ourselves from the rest of the world and embrace counterproductive measures/laws.
