KP hydel projects to generate 55MW by December, sets target of producing 4000MW: Khattak

it is absolute bullshit info , these hydro power projects were started in last tenure of ANP govt , they arranged its funding from ADB and other sources . PTI kp govt didnt contribute any one paisa in these projects . Just a bunch of lies . Power generation is not their priority .For small dams and power sector they have allocated the least amount just 3 billion out of 488 billion pkrhttp://electra-consultants.com/viewproject.php?ProjectID=217, it is just for an example and you can google the similar hydro projects.

Project Details - Electra Consultants

yes PTI government is the most corrupt government in any province of pakistan they did nothing all those progress in government departments and institutes are just show piece and adobe Photoshopped images picturized in some studio ... worst administration by PTI how the hell they continued ANP projects why PTI didnt followed foot steps of rest of political parties in pakistan by shelving the projects ??? i have fear if PTI came in Federal government they will start all pending projects which are shelved cz of highly experienced political parties like PML N PPP ...

KP hydel projects to generate 55MW by December: Khattak

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the provincial government is focusing on hydel power generation, developing viable alternative energy resources, establishment of oil refinery through public-private partnership (PPP) and developing community driven micro hydel projects and energy conservation programmes to overcome power loadshedding and usher economic development in the province.

Several hydel power projects are in progress and will generate 55-megawatt electricity till December, 2015, 61 megawatt till December, 2018 and 153 megawatt will be generated till December, 2019.

Under the initiative, Machai Hydel Power Project with production capacity of 17MW megawatt Mardan will completed by the end of the next month, 36 megawatt Daral Khwar by end of December 2015 while technical and financial bids for 69 megawatt Lawi (Chitral) and 84 megawatt Matiltan (Swat) are in progress. The technical bids for both projects were opened in February 2015 while financial bids by end of April 2015.

Similarly, three hydel projects including 31 megawatt Koto (Dir Lower), Jabori 7 megawatt Mansehra and Karora 10 megawatt Shangla have been approved by the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract awarded and is now ready for inauguration and will complete by June, 2018. Management consultant for these projects had been selected while selection for EPC contractor is in process.

Financial advisors are being hired to get finances for Sharmai Dir-150MW, Shushai-Zhendoli (Chitral)-144MW and Shogosin Chitral-132MW projects.

The provincial government has also initiated 356 micro hydel power projects in 12 districts at union council and village level. These projects will be run through community. Out of the total 356 projects, 207 projects up to 50KW will be completed by the end of September, 2015, 87 projects up to 150KW will be completed by December, 2015, 31 projects upto 250 KW will completed by September, 2016 and 31 more will be completed by December, 2016.

If i summarize this confusing BS in simple words. KPK government will produce around 116 MW by 2018.
I am impressed, its very good progress in 5 years and i will definitely vote for PTI. :sarcastic:

207 projects upto 50KW to be completed by September, 2015 (0.05MW)
87 projects upto 150 KW to be completed by Dec, 2015(0.15MW)
31 projects upto 250 KW to be completed by Sept, 2016(0.25MW)
Total: 0.45MW by 2016. :omghaha:
356 micro projects will generate 35MW.

Considering the electricity short fall of 3500-4000MW, Is PTI government too incompetent to initiate work on some mega project at least 300MW? :hang2:

it is a hard fact , when kpk power performance will come in discussion , its budget allocation will come under discussion .Yeh PTI walay jhoot bhi to bauhat boltay hain , aaina dilhana perta hai. otherwise chill karo dear .

PTI did nothing infact for the two years they were busy in dharnas and everything . Projects had all the funding available and pti did not stop it . It was a very small project which cannot do any improvement in total deficit of power . If KPK got is serious in power generation it must allocate at 5% of the total budget i.e 24 billion and in three years they can spend 72 billion PKR . It is sufficient amount which can do something substantial for power crises . But kp govt is not serious in power production and want to pass the ball to fed govt . DO you think 5 % is really a high number ? Punjab allocated about 8 % of the total budget for power generation . Pls stop giving funds to MPA and MNA s of pti and spend in power sector.

Now it is important for all the friends to see that PMLn govt has done a very remarkable effort and managed to procure funding for Dasu hydro power 2100 mwtts phase 1. i am posting World bank website info , pls see that the work is started on the infrastructure of Dasu hydro power and world bank has approved the funding for about one billion dollar for the project .
http://www-wds.worldbank.org/extern...d/PDF/Pakistan000Das0Report000Sequence002.pdf

federal govt allocated Rs 52 billion pkr for dasu dam in current budget .
Rs52b allocated for Dasu hydropower project

10 firms, joint ventures submit proposals for Dasu Hydropower Project | Pakistan Today
Contract of main dam and underground power house will be awarded soon . It would be a great news for our country as for the last 15 years we had not been able to build any big hydro power project .

.
Sorry But How they Going to Produce 4000 MW??? from 50 KW 150 KW and 250 KW....

is it 4000 KW?? or 40.00 MW ?? but good thing they building small dams for water reservoirs

not trolling

.
Excellent, this will definently solve Pakistans electricity problem!! Go 1 MW dams, go !!

PTI logic :

8000 MW shortfall

Province of KPK has capability of 50,000 MW production...

Makes 100 MW dams

they are just reservoirs mainly.... maybe they will produce 4000 MW from other sources or it's just 1500 from 6 7 medium dams in it i guess

Yeah its very big achievement of PML N after indian pressure these *** holes shelved basha dam project and went for a hydro electric project means we will still be looking for big reservior or dam in future and federal govt jusst on.name of basha every year is looting billions of rupees not a single stones laid for basha dam even after two.times of its inauguration first one in mushi era seccond one in gillaniz and now pml n still all of the projects are on papers .. and thekind of terrain where dassu is located it will take minimum 10 years to complete dassu project if they start now and lets see what will.be eletricity demand by then

And kindly do not manipulate people dassu is only a eletricity project which will be on run of river and dont use name of dam with this project to praise ganjas reality is dassu by its location is ideal for only eletricity making cz of very fast river indus flow and a narrow valleys of kohistan

Bhasha is not shelved , infact it is 12 billion USD project for which there is no finance available . Dasu is not on papers now as it is injected money and construction of infrastucture has started , 1 billion usd is available from WB for the main structure of the dam and the contract would be awarded soon . Now coming to completion time, pls study the WB documents about the completion time (it is in tke link posted in my post ), it is phase 1 2100 mwts 2022. About demand of electricity in our country ,you must ask this question to the rulers who were there for last 15 years but didnot do any power project . It must had been done long ago but now it is being done .

.
Dassu isn't dam its just a normal sized hydro project for electricity generation

it is not a dam correct , but it is not normal sized hydro power , it is a project with power generation capacity of 4200 mwatts . It is definately not normal sized but a big project .
