If they agree to sell,We should try to buy 20-24 used F16 from jorden . Sudden increase of 2 squadrons in no time, best for stop gap , not only stop gap we can upgrade in Turkey, and it is potent fighter, and we can’t ignore our decades of experience with this machine.
Also Jordian F16s are not much used. They maintained it well.

Why would the CoAS be involved in an F-16 deal? This is nothing but a reciprocal visit to the Kingdom by the CoAS. Pakistan trains many Jordanians across all services and the two countries have a very good Mil-Mil relations.

We have Army level issues with the Jordanians. There are Exs scheduled, there is purchase ammunition and other stocks under discussion and as of late, Jordanians have also been producing military hardware which may interest Pakistan. NONE of it has anything to do with F-16s. What domain expertise does the CoAS have to discuss transfer of F-16s with the Jordanians?

This would be a more likely acquisition to pursue. The current fleet as well as any used cobras acquired from overseas should have their lives extending, and they should be modestly modernized. The Iranian Cobra Fleet, for example, is also old, but it is still a force to be reckoned with if modernized and armed with modern weapons.
