CM SINDH PRESS CONFERENCE:
a group involved in killing of amjad sabri, 7 police officers,2 army men, traffic warden and involved in 28 terrorists activities have been arrested. terrorists were members of banned group named lashkar e jhangvi naeem bukhari group.

Karachi: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted raids in Karachi on Monday and arrested five criminals involved in killing of the late Qawwali maestro Amjad Sabri, killing of five Shiite Muslims at a Majlis in Nazimabad area and attack on police and military police personnel, reported 24 News.

Late Amjad Sabri’s brother Azmat Sabri while talking to 24 News said that it is a very big achievement on part of the CTD department to arrest the killers of his brother since four months of his targeted murder.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in a press briefing said that there were “conclusive proof” that the criminals arrested on Monday were involved in several incidents.

A large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the criminals.

Amjad Sabri was attacked in a targeted killing incident in July earlier this year in Liaquatabad area in Karachi. Law Enforcement Agencies had assured swift action against the culprits.

i donot know about naeem bukhari group. lashkar e jhangvi is ISIS affiliate and india is sponsoring ISIS.
police also talked about groups sponsored by another neighboring country behind recent killings. it was the initial news. later i updated the thread after the press conference. but the news regarding iranian involvement is still there.

initial news on tv was that a high profile pressconference is going to take place today. they quoted a police officer talking about iranian involvement in sectarian violance. later a sindh minister also said that.
2 hours later press conference took place so i updated the thread instead of creating a new one.
in the press conference cm sindh said that people involved in current target killing have not been arrested but trails have been found. the trails goes striaght to our neighboring currently.
