When did Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf (ra) destroy the Ka'aba or Makkah for that matter? The Qarmatians never really succeeded. They just ravaged Makkah until they were defeated by the Abbasids and later more or less exterminated.

if i recall correctly , most of historian and writer were under wing of Bani Ummayah and Bani Abbas and almost all of them are biased toward shiia ...

and don't get excited , Abbassid and their historian were busy to show true face of bani Ummayah to people ( as their enemy and someone who took the power from Bani ummayah ), so don't attach anything to Shiia ,we are just saying what your historian said ...

Are you telling me that Shia's do not have their own sources, ahadith etc. Basically you interpret Islamic history dramatically differently than 90% of all other Muslims out there. Anti-Umayyad feelings are almost a core belief in Shia Islam.

I am not sure if you understand Arabic but I suggest you take a look at Shia Arab sources of that time and later times.

Also why is it so hard to distinguish between damage/ravaging and outright destroying the entire Ka'aba which never happened?!

A simple Google search will reveal that those claims are written more or less entirely from Shia sources and as I told you anti-Umayyadism is a core belief in your tiny sect.

first , before you arab kissed western foots all of your historian were using df Hejri Qammari so don't ask me show you any source from it ...

second , I didn't know those stones were as smart as hellfire missile and were fire and forget type missile that could identify target automatically ...

he had more man , and he had upper hand , he could starve Abdullah ibn Zubair or finish him with a direct attack instead of attacking Kaabah with stones ....

dude its not right to generalize everyone . i am also sunni , i am not sure either i am wahabi or anything , i consider myself a muslim thats it .. believe in Allah and Prophet Muhammad Pbuh as his last messenger .
if some group want to destroy Kaaba , we should not start blame games, but to think about protecting it ..
