Nazarbayev’s Call for Latin Alphabet for Kazakh Worries Russia

When you change your scripts it means new generation are not able any more to fathom and grasp previous generation's book, poems and writing or even historical books which would end up in loosing identity. who says development could only reached through Latin alphabet? it's absurd ,,,

SO let translate Latin alphabets and writings into your language instead of changing the entire alphabet ...Transliteration is not that hard.

And I can assure you no translation can transfer the exact meaning of the culture and thought behind of book, poems and writing 'cause alphabet itself is a part of that culture and a key to understand it.

If you transliterate some Farsi poem from Nastaliq to Latin alphabet, making sure pronunciation stays the same (adding some extra symbols or whatever), it's going to carry the exact same meaning.
The Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and Russians have proved you can develop through your own script.
Why should we do that? what we gain from that and why you wanna do that? and it ain't all about pronunciation .. in fact the new generation can not read what their fathers wrote ... let's ask Latin countries to change their scripts to Farsi and translate Latin poets with adding some extra symbols ... no one could understand truly what Hafez, Rumi(Molana), Shams , Saadi said except Iranians even though we know that Rumi poets have sold millions of copies in recent years and he is best-selling poet in the US ....
The idea that you should change your script to develop is the most retarded thing that I've ever heard ... ... sure everyone could develop through its own script.
Language is the key of thoughts once you learn new language you start to see the world from that language perspective , at first it just seems to be alphabet by then it alters your thoughts and finally you accept the culture of new language ...
